25.01.2022 Lightening over Maria Island

23.01.2022 In July last year, I had the pleasure of experiencing one of Shai Shriki Music's Gypsy Zorba parties in Mullumbimby. I filmed most of the night and Shai has done a great job of piecing together the snippets into a cohesive promo. hope you enjoy!

21.01.2022 Vertical Life have done a great write up on the adventure we've got planned for winter. With less than four weeks on the clock till go time, my training and final prep is stepping up a notch. Really excited to be involved in this project, and looking forward to spending two weeks in the wilds with Andy, Simon, Mark, Mickolas, Nick and Olivia. Hopefully we'll get the chance to send this thing, either way, we'll come back with some epic footage and tales to tell.... make sure to check out our facebook page; Winter on the Blade and website http://www.winterontheblade.com for more info See more

09.01.2022 A short photo essay of Alexandra's Farm. Hakaya Farm is a unique place, just shy of Cygnet it is distinctly recognisable by the three parts built viking longboat in the front yard. This permaculture paradise has a host free range meats roaming amongst the organic apple orchard and beyond. As well as being a providor, Alex is a lover of the arts and hosts semi regular paddock to plate feasts, accompanied by world class music.

04.01.2022 slow release of India photos. photographed on my trusty FM2 with whatever film was available

04.01.2022 Hey all, 2015 is drawing to a close and though i still take a lot of photos, i only uploaded 3 here all here all year. I feel its about time to change that and get back into the flow of sharing my images regularly. It'll take commitment, effort and time in front of a screen for me to develop a functional workflow and get photos out. lets see how long it lasts. This year i have focused more on learning videography than still images. Its been a steep learning curve exciting for...ay Unfortunately i lack a machine with the processing power to do anything with the video footage i've shot, so it'll likely be a while longer before anyone sees its fruits. so back to the story, almost three years to the day i first set foot in India and i am revisiting the journey. over the next little while i'll be posting up images, starting with travel shots and then continuing to the other adventures i've been up to over the last while. hope you enjoy the insight and seeing the world through my lens again ciao, Dan this character caught my eye, he had an intense gaze and was selling brightly coloured strings of beads four meters long. it was an intriguing combinationn

03.01.2022 though none of these photos are food focused, i do have to say that the delicious cuisine was probably the highlight of Thailand for me. that and the amazing community i met through couchsurfing in Bangkok, both travelers and hosts and especially the rockclimbing ones. which i also failed to photograph. these 800 year old ruins of Sukhothai, traditional capital of the Siam Empire were pretty awesome too, i headed there for the Loi Krathong festival

02.01.2022 sunset on the drive up to Pachmarhi, people were playing games out in the dust and creating great silhouette. had to stop and take a photo. saw so many wild peacocks on the drive, and learned that tigers roam the hills

02.01.2022 Video just wouldn't upload to the page so i had to do things in reverse. hope you enjoy
