21.01.2022 The Election is on, 10 candidates are in the officer ward, most in my opinion are just dummy's, I will be a independent councilor, I'm not affiliated with a group, I don't have planning applications lodged or pending, I have nominated in a uncontested ward. Where there was no sitting councilor to be elected. Some only have PO Box's for address's and then some complain about other people not living in the ward. Fun and games.. I believe, I'll be a good councilor and as i have ...experiences with running different business over the years and not being a single issues candidate. I tried to contact a few other candidates with only 1 answering. Most are only post links to government websites, to show how community conscious they are. I think a few of the dummys are better than the one they're supposed to be propping up. Well, hopefully some of the restrictions will be lifted before Christmas.. See more

15.01.2022 Get to know me a little better before the election.

15.01.2022 Introducing myself to you, I have competed in two Commonwealth Games and the 1988 Olympics as a wrestler for Australia and understand that hard work and determination is the key to a happy life. The environment is very important to my family and I as we have 130 acres within the Cardina shire which has an abundance of wildlife. There is nothing nicer than to be greeted in the morning by all the rosellas and king parrots. I have run a paintball business in cockatoo for over 20...years and have always enjoyed running groups form the area. People will ask what experience do i have to be a councilor ? Well I have been a councilor in the past and understand the commitment required to do the work. As my children are now kind of grown up (twins 25 and youngest 21) my wife Amanda now has allowed me to once again try to become involved. I've was privileged to be selected as torch runner for the 2000 Olympics as well as a volunteer in Sydney Olympic's and I can't believe that it's was 20 years ago. and I would like to thank my mate dean for calling me to help correct my grammar.. I do have dyslexia ( thank goodness for spell check)
