08.01.2022 A butcher bird has been visiting us at the house every day since mum passed away. I’m not a huge believer of spirits, but I’d like to think it’s her saying hello. Mum was always my biggest fan of my work. Sometimes I thought she was a bit OTT with her praise, but now I realize how much her comments meant to me... #formum #butcherbird #birdillustration

04.01.2022 10 years ago I started a blog: andnowiambroke.blogspot.com after I spent my last $300 on a pair of Camper boots and set myself the challenge of drawing everything I spend my money on in an attempt to stop spending. I’ve just revived my blog after setting myself the challenge to only buy second hand for the next 6 months. I’ve bought some amazing things so far, and decided I should illustrate the things I find (cause really, it’s like finding treasure) to keep me motivated. T...his is my first haul from @mutualmuseshop . @doopsdesigns skirt; @rollienation boots and @obusclothing shirt. Loooooove. #buysecondhand #dontbuynewreuse #rollienation #obusclothing #doopsdesigns #andnowiambroke
