15.01.2022 Things really are shifting and changing so quickly. I’m feeling enormous gratitude for the work I have been able to continue doing over the past couple of months, as others have none. And so lucky to be told to ‘stay home’ in Bundanoon. I am starting to see clients in the studio again, one person in the studio at a time and keeping touch to a mininum. 04.01.2022 So much joy getting to work on this vintage Dior couture gown. I went over it with a fine tooth comb and carefully repaired by hand any flaws on the silk, there were small tears and some seams that had frayed. Purchased as a surprise birthday gift the gown needed a little love and a gentle steam and press to make it ready. I couldn’t help imagining what it must be like creating garments in one of the worlds finest couture ateliers, the skill and artistry are enviable....
