23.01.2022 Meet Amy. I am very pleased to have this young, talented and incredible woman working with me. Amy is equally passionate about the mental health space and working her way to becoming one incredible psychologist. We know a lot of people are struggling right now and that there is a lot of heaviness in the world. Often when we post things we have a lot of people reach out for more tips, resources and support, privately. Please keep doing this! We are here to help and very happy... to share anything psychology and mental health related that will help you or someone you know. Make sure you tune in to our monthly webinars for more tips, tools and techniques. . . . @amyb__ #mentalhealthmatters #mentalhealth #support #anxiety #depressionhelp #mentalillness #psychologytips #confidence #suicideprevention #wellbeing #counsellingaustralia #lifecoachingtips #happiness #kiama #southcoastnsw #wollongong

14.01.2022 Can you relate? A lot of people are feeling demotivated and just a little ‘blah’ at the moment. If so, it’s a normal and appropriate response to some pretty unique challenges and times. But the good news is emotions are fleeting and we are not our thoughts so this too shall pass #findingstrength #relfection #isolation #covidquarantine #wellbeingjourney #psychologist #mentalhealthawareness #covidstrong #hotelquarantine #covidquarantine #inspirationalquotes #expatkids #homeschooling

13.01.2022 Well, it's true. Investing in positive psychology and taking steps to 'feel' happy is good for your health. A timely article. Check it out. https://journals.sagepub.com//abs/10.1177/0956797620919673

13.01.2022 Ahhh my dad set pretty high expectations of what a good dad is, but Mr Buckley @jaybuckley1978 you have delivered and filled these impossible shoes. I miss you dad @andrewheffernan4 and I wish we could see you today. I’m sure the kids would love a wrestle, I would settle with a red wine. Miss you xxxx

10.01.2022 It is World Suicide prevention day. The year of 2020 has seen a rise in suicides and mental illness. Today is a gentle reminder to connect with others, this is a hard year and a hard time. When you connect with others, often when people say they are ‘fine’ they mean a whole number of others things... sad, angry, annoyed, frustrated, low etc. It’s normal to feel these things and there is help available. I strongly recommend talking to a professional as part of our own self c...are program. Think of seeing a professional like a ‘head coach’ just like our personal trainer works on your body, your head coach will get your mind mentally well and strong. #ruok #ruokday #suicideprevention #suicideawarenessmonth #thinking #psychologist #counselling #headcoach #onlinetherapy #anxiety #stress #depressionhelp See more

06.01.2022 I get asked about words a lot - some great words to describe how we feel...

06.01.2022 A lot of people in relationships have found this time harder than normal. Hopefully this helps.

06.01.2022 This is a great interview and message about keeping life simple during this time to look after your mental health.

05.01.2022 Sometimes all someone needs is you to hold their hand. They don’t need a solution, an answer or a plan. They just need you to sit with them, hold their hand and listen. . . .... . #thinking #reflection #covid_19 #lockdownlife #selfawareness #confidence #mentalhealthcounseling #wellbeing #mentalhealthquotes #mentalhealthawareness #psychologists #andbreathe

04.01.2022 Down very useful information here, particularly useful during these high pressured times.

03.01.2022 I’m thinking about the relationship we have with ourselves a lot at the moment. With so many people having a really hard time it’s important we approach the relationship we have with ourselves with the same kindness and compassion we would show a friend. A helpful technique to be more kind and self compassionate is to ask whether you treat yourself and hold yourself to the same love and standards that would a friend? So... what’s your answer? . . . #covid_19 #friendshipsgoals #relationshipsgoals #selflove #compassionateliving #kindnessmatters #onlinecounselling #positivity #thinking #wellbeing #reflections #inspofinds #psychologist

02.01.2022 This weekend make sure you prioritise your well-being. Get out in nature, make connections with people you love, laugh, eat well, sleep, read a good book, listen to good music and take time to just be. Tiny tweaks in how we live our life and what we do can significantly change how we feel. . . . #stress #happiness #loveyourself #wellbeing #alive #covd #isolationlife #chooselove #thinkingpositive #psychologist #coachingtips #onlinecoaching
