24.01.2022 So much joy getting to work on this vintage Dior couture gown. I went over it with a fine tooth comb and carefully repaired by hand any flaws on the silk, there were small tears and some seams that had frayed. Purchased as a surprise birthday gift the gown needed a little love and a gentle steam and press to make it ready. I couldn’t help imagining what it must be like creating garments in one of the worlds finest couture ateliers, the skill and artistry are enviable.... 01.01.2022 Things really are shifting and changing so quickly. I’m feeling enormous gratitude for the work I have been able to continue doing over the past couple of months, as others have none.
