So this happy little lady is Evelyn, pre and post cake smash...and I think its fair to say that she had some fun! I can't wait to show you the rest of her photos Steph!

15.01.2022 I have such a soft spot for squishy little babies! Its been far too long between newborn sessions for me, so I had to share one from last week. This is Mabel, 10 days old and such a little beauty. Congrats again to her proud parents, Jennifer and Cam, she is perfection!

15.01.2022 I shot with Natasha way back in November when she modelled for a conceptual image that I'm stillll trying to put together. Between work, holidays and persistent computer issues, its been difficult to find the time for any of my own work lately, but I think I'm finally back in the game! Natasha, you were beyond amazing- it was such a pleasure to work with you!

13.01.2022 This is the first of the two Frida Kahlo paintings I reproduced a little while back. Its based on my favourite of Kahlo's paintings' The Two Fridas' completed in 1939 and was an absolute joy to work on! 09.01.2022 This shoot was fun! It was pretty impromptu too...its nice when things just come together easily :) Big thanks to Beccy Jean - Makeup Artist for the brilliant hair and make up, my model Natasha for always being a super star and Anna, for helping out with my lighting!

07.01.2022 I had the pleasure of working with this gorgeous girl a couple of weeks back. Huge thanks to Liz ( Porio Hair & Makeup Artist) and of course to the spectacular Amy, It was so nice to work with you both!

05.01.2022 This is the chaos of how i work when compositing. All of these individual layers are small pieces that make up the foundation of the picture I'm building. Theres really no rhyme or reason to what goes where, just a whole lot of seeing what works and most importantly, whats believable. I described it to a friend this week as trying to put a puzzle together....one really big, crazy puzzle! And again- sorry for being so slack with posting work lately, but i've been busy working on some exciting business changes that I'll fill you all in on soon!

05.01.2022 I'm sitting here finishing up with Chloe's maternity session and I can't help but feel incredibly lucky to be invited into peoples lives to help document the special parts. I've been photographing this growing family for quite a while now and I've witnessed so many beautiful milestones along the way. So thank you guys, it's always a massive privilege! X

01.01.2022 Back in February Beccy Jean - Makeup Artist came up with the idea of creating a series of portraits inspired by the 20th Century Mexican Artist, Frida Kahlo. If you haven't heard of her before, do yourself a favour and look her up. Her self portraits are phenomenal and she painted with an unflinching honesty that all artists can only aspire to. So if you have the time, have a look through her art, you won't be disappointed. Our project started with working around a fairly lo...ose interpretation of Kahlo's iconic style...we jumped between using varying degrees of her famous monobrow, the flowers she wore in her hair, the jewellery etc and then somewhere along the way, the project turned into a tribute to her art. Towards the end of shooting the portraits, we had the idea of attempting to reproduce a couple of her self portraits with our models, in photographs, as a sort of homage to her. We ended up recreating 'The two Fridas' and 'Self Portrait, dedicated to Dr Eloesser' but with my own little spin on them. I also recorded the editing of both that i'll share here soon. I have to say a massive thank you to my models, Micaela and Jasmine, Ken for the incredible hair for the last two looks and of course to Beccy Jean for the make up. You guys are the best!
