05.01.2022 Well I was very humbled to learn that I was nominated, and a finalist as Volunteer of the Year in the 2020 Ipswich Sports Awards. What an interesting season we had at the Dinmore Bushrats this year with so many additional tasks, responsibilities and restrictions in place, but we did it together. Being a volunteer is not easy, there are many hours behind the scenes people don’t see, but we put in the hard yards to give others an opportunity. We don’t do it for the recognition..., but we do enjoy a pat on the back every so often.
