21.01.2022 Black fans are certainly not as common as white fans, as the colour tends to stand out a lot, and takes attention away from other features of the room. However, in this customer's case, it ended up looking great, and perfectly complimented their existing living space!

16.01.2022 These photos were given to me by Jarryd S., an electrician from Victoria. They were captured using a thermal imaging device, used within the electrical industry to identify hot joints, poor connections, and equipment with poor efficiency. In the first photo, it shows two downlights side by side. On the left is a standard 12V Halogen downlight, commonly used in homes and offices since the 1990's, and to the right of it is a modern fully sealed LED downlight. The thermal imagin...g results show a very significant difference in temperature, with the second photo, focused on the surface of the halogen lamp holder, revealing the surface temperature is at least 187 degrees celsius! The lamp itself is probably closer to 250C! It's really not uncommon for non-LED downlights, and other light fittings, to exceed temperatures of 200C. When any electrical equipment increases in temperature, it's efficiency goes down, and when the efficiency goes down, the power consumption goes up! But there isn't just an increase power consumption in the light by itself. There is also an increase in cooling costs! After all, the heat generated by these highly inefficient light fittings end up being added to the room temperature, and what happens when the room temperature goes up? The airconditioner has to work harder to cool the room, meaning increased running costs for cooling your home! Might be great in winter, but not what you want in summer. By replacing old electrical fittings that have extremely poor efficiency, and generate substantial amounts of heat, you not only save money when the lights are on, you also save money when it comes to keeping your home cool. Contact Danjoh Electrical today for an obligation free quote, and we'll do all we can to help reduce your electricity bill! We only use quality parts, and the downlights we use come with an industry leading 7 year full replacement warranty.

16.01.2022 Once again, congratulations to Joanna Board. We have just removed 29 old, dated, and highly inefficient lights, and installed brand new downlights in their place. We also removed an old broken one directional motion sensor, and installed a brand new 360 degree motion sensor - perfect for detecting anyone trying to sneak up the side of the property. All of this comes complete with 7 years full replacement warranty. It's amazing the difference new lights can make to a home!

05.01.2022 Not too long ago a customer asked about updating her recently purchased new home from an old and dated appearance, to having a brighter, and more modern look, that was also more energy efficient. After numerous discussions and careful selection of lights and fans, we proceeded to replace almost every light and fan fixture in her home. Now that all the electrical, plumbing, plastering and painting has been completed, it looks great, and she couldn't be happier! If you'd like to update your home with a fresh new look, or simply make it brighter, cooler, and more efficient, then get in touch and we'll do what we can to help!
