After 15 years in business and following exponential growth over the past decade, it’s now time to execute an extremely ambitious growth and expansion strategy to take the company to the next level.... 10.01.2022 What an emotional day it was yesterday as Melbourne's hospitality and retail sectors were finally given the green light to re-open, ahead of schedule! Although we are opening with baby steps, it's a move in the right direction for the Events Industry which had been decimated by Covid restrictions resulting in forced shutdowns across the industry. Melbourne is proudly recognised as the epicentre for events globally. At Dann Event Hire, we feel privileged to have worked with ou...r clients for over 15 years, bringing thousands of events to life each year. With no events and no income for almost 8 months now, its been a fatiguing and emotionally draining year that saw our business lose many talented staff members and face a multitude of challenges. We know we're not alone and it's been heartbreaking hearing similar stories of struggle and pain from our network of clients and suppliers. From caterers and event managers to restaurants and florists to name few. Needless to say the State Government announcements yesterday were a welcome relief. We can't wait to start creating and dreaming with our clients again and to be a part of bringing people together to celebrate and live life! Well done to all our friends, clients and suppliers for weathering the storm. Let's get behind each other and help get our beloved industry back on track. They do not care about your age or your health, you can't screen for it or prevent it. It just sneaks up on you. We all know someone that has been touched by a blood cancer. In fact, every 36 minutes an Australian will be told these 5 terrifying-little-words, 'you have a blood cancer'.... It's time to take action. Upload a photo of you wearing red in support of blood cancer and tag a friend to do the same with #ItCouldBeMe OR If you have the means and want to 'Give every Australian blood cancer patient a fighting chance right from the start' please donate to buy an Aussie blood cancer patient a genomic test to better guide their diagnosis and treatment plan.
