24.01.2022 OVER 900 SALES AGAIN! The Perth Real Estate market is officially in a sellers market with Reiwa agents recording another 918 sales for the market. With stock levels remaining stable at 10,237 listings there is around 11 weeks of stock on the market. This time last year there was around 22 weeks worth of stock. We are seeing multiple offers on some properties with motivated buyers missing out. The rental market is still very tight with only 2864 properties available for rent. Rental prices have gone up by an average of $25 per week in the last 3 months. With record low interest rates, great rental yield and a market that is starting to see some price growth, investors are starting to re-enter the market creating competition with owner occupiers. 03.01.2022 RENTAL MARKET IS STRONG! Over the last week the properties available for rent has dropped again down to 3352 which is a drop in supply of 5% compared to last week. Pressure on rental availablity is increasing prices which is great news for investors. Sales volume was down slightly to 716 transactions for the week. Listings remain stable at 10,798 properties for sale. We are still seeing large nimbers at opens with some properties receiving multiple offers.
