21.01.2022 So after a very quiet 2020 due to cancelling several weddings that I had booked and family shoots etc not being allowed, I am glad to once again being able to get a little creative. It was good to be able to pick up the camera in the last few weeks and do a family shoot two weeks ago and tonight, capture a lovely couple. Thank you to Corey and Amy - it was a fun shoot.

15.01.2022 Had a couple of orders for canvases in the last week or so, so I took the opportunity to order a couple of extra ones. One I took in the autumn at Beechworth and one of my kids that I took about a month ago. I’ll share the big beautiful one once it’s delivered next week
14.01.2022 I have not had too much photography mojo lately. Most of my shots have been work related but my favourite landscape and astro photography has fallen by the way side. I have been sharing some of my older landscape stuff to keep you all interested. This morning I dragged my butt out of bed and visited my favourite spot - I had a hunch it was going to be the right time to visit again. The smell of eucalyptus and wet earth greeted me and as I drank in these beautiful scents and felt the cold morning chill on my face, the sun rose and presented me with this.........
14.01.2022 These tiny orchids were on the species list for Castle Creek Conservation Reserve but i had never seen them there until yesterday. Just a handful, but so beautiful. Nodding Greenhood- Pterostylis nutans.

03.01.2022 A beautiful Calochilus robertsonii - Purple Beard Orchid found when I was out and about today. Last year we only found one specimen of these in this particular reserve and this year I thought there may have been more. This was the only one I could find so far.

01.01.2022 I would like take this opportunity to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy, safe and restful new year. 2020 was a crazy old year. All the weddings that I had booked this year were canceled and are rescheduled for 2021. I think I did one family shoot early on and other than that I was very quiet. I found it hard to find my photography mojo and whilst enjoying a break from photography, I have really missed it. 2021 is shaping up to be a pretty good year - with 4 wed...dings booked already and hopefully some exhibitions and art shows. Anyway - from the bottom of my heart I want to wish each and every one of you a very merry Christmas and I look forward to sharing some more of my work in 2021. Take care everybody xx Danny
