He and mumma Julia are going great and Julia even let us have a little extra milk the other day. These 5 little fluff balls only hatched out a couple of days before Christmas and they're already trying to fly. 18.01.2022 Been trying to come up with a caption to do justice to the beauty of these sculpturesque oyster mushrooms but words are just falling short. Grown in the bathtub on some recycled newspaper pellets (aka unused kitty litter) they're our first foray into oysters and I am thoroughly enchanted. Fried them up in lots of butter with garlic and rosemary and they were bloody delish! 16.01.2022 It was such an inspiring and hopeful experience to march alongside tens of thousands of students and adults calling for climate action in Melbourne yesterday. According to the IPCC we have less than 12 years left to take meaningful action and avoid catastrophic climate change. As a farmer (and a human) that scares the bejesus out of me but we do have the solutions to reverse global warming (regenerative agriculture, renewables and educating girls globally to name a few of the most effective) and we just need to send a deafening message to everyone in power that we demand urgent action. Now is the time to raise your voice and protect the future while we still have time.
