25.01.2022 We’re thrilled to be celebrating the diverse history of our country during #NAIDOCweek2020. As the oldest continuing culture on the planet, we have much to learn from and about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who have thousands of years of generational stories and experience. We acknowledge that First Nations people have occupied and cared for this continent for more than 65,000 years. Always Was, Always Will Be, Aboriginal land. #naidoc #naidocweek2020 #alwayswasalwayswillbe

24.01.2022 Friday #flashback to 2010 when I scored the front cover of the Mission Australia Annual report. The same year that I introduced the Missionbeat Mountain bike patrols to access the pockets of the city that our vans could not get too. Had some fun on the bikes and an awesome conversation starter too with those sleeping rough in hard to reach locations of Sydney’s CBD.

17.01.2022 Credit to Goulburn Australia for a fantastic 2 night pop up Drive Inn event. Awesome event for the community to give our kids the experience that our parents and grandparents had. About 120 vehicles each night is also a great effort by the Goulburn community. Thank you to my Mission Australia staff helping out council on the bbq to raise $$$ for the youth mentoring program to send the young people on the Larapinta Trail Trek next year. #picturesandpopcorn #goulburnaustralia

11.01.2022 Today is the United Nations Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. In Australia, 1 woman a week is murdered. 45 women have been killed this year. 1 in 3 women have experienced domestic abuse. We all have a role to play in ending violence against women. Enough is enough #IDEVAW Mission Australia
