After much deliberation and research, the Dante School has introduced a great selection of new courses to complement the already successful Italian language courses offered over the past years. 15.01.2022 As we are going through very difficult times given the unprecedented challenges posed by the COVID-19 we want to reassure you that we are taking steps to secure your wellbeing whilst at Dante. With the ever-changing information and recommendations, it has been difficult to find a way to keep you safe without disrupting your language learning. However, after much deliberation, this is what we have decided to do. We will keep the school thoroughly sanitised through week 8 and ...we will close the school at the end of it. In fact, on Saturday 28th of March Dante will close for an indefinite period of time but we will continue our classes online. In week 9 we will set up our teachers to run Italian tuition online which is what we intend to do for the rest of the year. We hope to trail some digital lessons during week 9. Term two will start a week earlier to recoup week 9 on the 20th of April. We will keep you informed of further developments as they come available so please stay tuned. On behalf of the School Team and the Dante Committee I hope you and your families will stay safe and well during this unpleasant situation.

07.01.2022 Dear Members and Friends, DASWA is considering a move to another location so that it can more easily accommodate the additional teaching classes that we are planning including PLIDA, IELTS, Music, Italian History as well as adult classes on the Divine Comedy. We are very grateful to the WA Italian Club for our current location and a competitive rent, which has allowed us to run the school and present other cultural activities for many years. It is our intention to expand ou...r activities and visibility in promoting the Italian language and culture in the broader community. This is an ambitious and important step in our history and requires support from our members and friends. As a not for profit organisation DASWA is run by volunteers who offer their time and enthusiasm and contributions are always welcome. We seek your ideas and assistance to find a new location that can meet our future objectives within our budget limits.
