24.01.2022 I spent the summer at Clearwater pushing oats in by day and strengthening my back at night. Trying to relieve the damage to my bursa that years if paddle guiding did. But secretly I just wanted to be jacked. ... I knew it but chose to believe otherwise that stretching my chest was the best chance I had at relieving the pain. To create a better posture and stop the wear on my bursa. But what great way to spend a Canadian summer.

06.01.2022 Dear Gym, I have been cheating on you with LIFE. We had fun and you made me feel great. Stronger than ever. ... But at the end of the day we weren’t meant to spend our lives together. You were there for me when I was down and in pain. You helped me learn to move in a way that didn’t keep me up all night. I loved the way you could make me feel tired enough for a good night’s sleep without aggravating my joint and back problems. You taught me that I don’t need you to change the way I look because it comes down to what I consume. I thought eating healthy was enough but there’s more to it when it comes to breaking plateaus and reaching goals. I was happy with the way I looked but you made me feel I needed more and your environment led me to strive for 7% body fat. I did this a couple of ways with different approaches. So, I learned it’s not you, the building, the gym. It’s not the type of exercise, It’s not even the foods I limit myself to But the numbers, facts and data that get me visible results, So, I will take what you taught me and go back to LIFE!!!
