Kellie Danzart Principal Trained in Brisbane Lily was a member of Ballet Theatre of Queensland and Queensland Ballet Academy Junior Program. In 2015 Lily was accepted into the Bolshoi Ballet Academy summer intensive in New York (USA), from which she was invited to move to Moscow, Russia, and train at the Moscow State Academy of Choreography (Bolshoi Ballet Academy). While studying in Russia, she also was selected to perform in several Moscow State Academy of Choreography performances, namely in Swan Lake and Chopinana. Further, Lily was also selected from the Academy to join the core de ballet of the Stanislavsky and Kremlin Theatres respectively in their performances of La Bayadere at the Stanislavsky Theatre and Kremlin Palace in Moscow.

09.01.2022 Classical Ballet **5 years to advanced** Ballet is the most beneficial form of dance for body placement. We absolutely recommend this style for any student who wishes to advance and improve technique. Ballet is regarded as one of the most artistic forms of dance and has a fascinating history. Its origins are traced back to the Italian Renaissance; the art form moving to France in the 16th century into the French Royal Court following the marriage of an Italian aristocrat to... King Henry II of France. One of the greatest aspects of learning ballet is it teaches children more than just how to perform, it teaches focus and commitment through accomplishment. This style of dance requires hard work. As it is a technical discipline, ballet requires dedication and we recommend two classes of ballet a week. Opportunities for both the young enthusiastic dancer and aspiring professional student are available in our Royal Academy of Dance syllabus. We offer private coaching and open classes for boys and girls from primary to advanced levels. Students at the required age and standard are invited to complete exams.
