24.01.2022 POSTPONED- Unfortunately due to the current weather conditions we will be postponing today’s Meet and Greet for the Women’s League Tag and Tackle! The meet and greet will now be held next WEDNESDAY the 29th of January, 6pm start! We hope to see you all there, ready for an exciting season ahead! Apologies again for any inconvenience!

22.01.2022 We have just received advice that NSWRL has met with medical authorities, government agencies and other sporting bodies and a media release from our CEO. Effective immediately all clubs are to cease team training. Further advice on the resumption of training will be forwarded when containment of the pandemic virus meets Government and NSWRL’s expectations.... The Dapto Rlfc will keep you posted as updates come to hand.

21.01.2022 Dapto RLFC Annual General Meeting. When : Saturday 19th December Time :11am Place:Dapto Leagues Club.... The club is also looking for volunteers to join the senior and junior committees New members welcome on the day. At the conclusion of the meeting the coaches and committee will be available to discuss what the CANARIES are planning for season 2021 and beyond.

19.01.2022 If your club has withdrawn from 2020 senior grade competitions, you can request a permit to play with another Illawarra club who is participating in 2020. A per...mit is essentially a short term loan, after which the player returns to his/her original club which then have the right to try and retain the player in 2021. 18.01.2022 Hand up if you’re missing footy Dapto Rugby League Football Club’s newly formed under 18’s Girls Tackle team are eagerly awaiting confirmation to return back to training and kick off their 2020 season! NSWRL have confirmed competitions will be able to return on the 18th of July with training to begin on the 1st. ... Dapto Rugby League Football Club is looking for interested girls eligible to play in the newly created under 16’s girls tackle competition and Under 18’s! If you are 14 turning 15 or 15 turning 16 in 2020 we want you! Dapto will he entering a team in the NEW and EXCITING under 16’s girls tackle competition! Why not give it a try?!... Girls who are 16 turning 17 and 17 turning 18 in 2020 are eligible to play in our under 18’s team! The girls have been training hard and are ready to go for the season ahead but require a few more numbers to field a side! 17.01.2022 Congratulations to both our U18 teams who are through to the Grand Final next week! The girls play at Parrish Park on Saturday at 12.50 and the boys are at Ziems Park on Sunday at 11.50. Up the Canaries!

16.01.2022 Dapto RLFC has nominated teams in seniors for reserve grade, 18’s men’s and women’s and open women’s league tag. To meet the leagues return to play requirements we have appointed an accredited COVID-19 safety officer and submitted a COVID-19 safety plan - we are awaiting approval of this plan to enable the club to return to training. I will further advise when more information is available on training days,times and locations. In the meantime it will be worth your while to r...eview the COVID 19 policies on the NSWRL website- www.nswrl.com.au This will ensure you are all fully aware of players personal responsibilities when we are able to resume training. 14.01.2022 WE NEED YOUR HELP Our little club is growing fast, with over 460+ kids registered to play league and league tag this season, and so many families that... come along to watch. There is so much to do to ensure the kids get to play a game each week, but we only have a small committee who give up so much of their time to make it all happen. At the moment we only have a handful of dedicated volunteers taking on so many roles, plus whatever else may come their way, we are desparate for your assistance to help our clubs’ continued growth. If you would like to help out, please come forward and let us know. You do not need to be on the committee to take up a role or assist in any way. Any small role would help out the club and the kids so much. Just a few of the jobs the committee do are: registrations, clothes & playing gear orders, ground management, first aid, managers, sponsorship, raffles and fundraising, field marking and running the canteen and bbq’s each week. 10.01.2022 The Dapto RLFC would like to offer our condolences to Womens u18’s Coach Courtney Crawford on the recent passing of her much loved Grandma - Pam Crawford. Courtney is a third generation Crawford representing the Dapto Football Club , her pop was junior league treasurer in the 80’s , her dad and 3 uncles all played with great esteem for Dapto in the 80’s ,90’s and 00’s winning multiple premierships between them. Let’s rally around and ensure the family is well supported.

04.01.2022 Update: See below for approval to return to training- discuss with your coaches for allocated days and times. Also expecting permission to resume training at Dapto Showground next week. We all must ensure the protocols are followed to keep everyone and there families safe. The NSWRL has reviewed your submission and your club has been granted approval to return to training.... Please remember: 1) We are in Step 2 of our Return to Play Plan for Rugby League. Training activity can be conducted in small groups of no more than 20 2) Anyone with flu-like symptoms should NOT attend 3) Body contact and tackling is NOT permitted 4) Where possible, maintain a distance of 1.5m when training 5) Only essential spectators are permitted. One parent/guardian per child 6) Players should be prepared for training prior to arrival 7) An attendance register for all attendees needs to be maintained for each training and game day Your Club COVID Safe Officer is responsible for ensuring your COVID Safety Plan is implemented Thank you for your cooperation during this difficult time. 02.01.2022 A meeting with clubs on Tuesday night has confirmed the resumption of all senior and junior international age competitions on 18 July. Final nominations are bei...ng confirmed currently and work will then begin to develop new draws for modified competitions, with formats to be finalised Gala days for u6 - u12 competitions are also being considered and will be made more viable if restrictions continue to ease. Clubs are currently working to finalise COVID-19 safety plans before being able to return to training under current public health orders.
