24.01.2022 BIG NEWS FOR THIS SATURDAY We are introducing the annual Mitchell- Fleming Cup to be Played between Chiefs & Eagles 1st Grade This will be a once a year special event and trophy played against our two clubs in honour of all our previous players and a rivalry that has been ongoing for a few decades... Due to Covid, We will be unable to make this a huge day that this deserves this year however we will still play for the trophy and MVP of the game with a small separated presentation right at the end of the game. Come down for a Beer & Pie & remember to Sign in & keep your Social Distancing

15.01.2022 Afternoon All Despite not having reports on ALL ground conditions at hand, the Executive have decided to cancel ALL games scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday 8 August, on the following basis: - All three fields at Berkeley have been inspected and declared unplayable as of 2pm and rain has continued to fall across the region;... - Forecast shows a very high likelihood of continued rain this afternoon and overnight in BOTH Illawarra and Shoalhaven; and - Rain is expected during the scheduled game times tomorrow (which presents a clear issue for the management of physical distancing of players as there are no grounds with sufficient undercover areas - either in dugouts, or amenity blocks). A decision on Sunday games will be made by 3pm tomorrow.

Other grounds/games stay as is. Rnd 8 (Sun 23/8) - IBL->Hector 10:00 Panthers5 v Chiefs5 12:30 Panthers4 v Mariners4 The on-line draw has been updated to match. NOTE: Eagle Field seems to be holding up reasonably well with the new drainage. Most other areas at Fred Finch are quite boggy, although hopefully the wind will help dry out over the coming days.
