25.01.2022 Wow, we didn't anticipate so much support for Convoy today! Unfortunately, Miss Wood sold out of our Convoy wristbands during lunch today, but she will have more to sell on Monday before school for anyone who missed out. Stay tuned for our total donation announcement!

25.01.2022 Our first Kindergarten assembly for 2021! These are some of our very excited Kindy kids receiving some very well deserved awards at our first assembly. Lots of happy smiling little faces proudly showing off their certificates :) ... Well done to everyone!

23.01.2022 Don't forget to wear your favourite sport gear and dress in your team's colours tomorrow! Most students will still have their normal sport lessons tomorrow, so please make sure clothing and footwear choices are appropriate.

23.01.2022 Having your child's surname clearly displayed in your vehicle makes our afternoon pick up process smoother and quicker. Do you need a new sign? Just let us know and we will make you a new one! 4261 2247 [email protected]

20.01.2022 Well, we think that maybe Mr Arnold enjoyed our sport-themed mufti day more than anyone! Don't forget, this Friday students are allowed to wear crazy socks to school for our next Fun Friday.

20.01.2022 Don't forget that we have new pick up times from tomorrow! For students going home by car, pick up times are: 2:35 PM for surnames A-H 2:45 PM for surnames I-Z... To try and keep traffic around the school to a minimum during the afternoon, please do not come before your child's allocated dismissal time.

20.01.2022 Today is Safer Internet Day. We hope that some of these resources from the Office of the eSafety Commissioner assist our families in having conversations at home that reinforce what they are taught at school. Working together, we can keep our children safe.

20.01.2022 We were lucky enough to have TWO groups of Kindergarten students come to the office to show their amazing Literacy work this morning! We love to see when students are proud of their work and accomplishments!

18.01.2022 We hope you all enjoyed your surprises today! Our students are so lucky to have many different wonderful male role models in their lives. We thank all of you today. Also a big shout out to our executive team for manning our Father’s Day Stall this year! Was anyone lucky enough to get the apron that Mr Friedrich is modeling?

18.01.2022 Distancing restrictions haven't stopped our classroom camaraderie at DPS! 3H were cheering Isla on from the classroom as they tuned in to the live stream of the Stage 2 Spelling Bee from our school hall.

18.01.2022 For #ScienceWeek, 5D were lucky enough to Zoom with one of our own parents at Endeavour Energy for a live-streamed electricity incursion before creating electrical circuits of their very own! Check out all of the wonderful things they learnt!

17.01.2022 Don't forget that we are having our I98FM Illawarra Convoy Mufti Day this Friday! We are very excited to be supporting this community cause again this year. Last year we raised enough money to get our school's name on The People's Truck - let's see if we can do it again!

17.01.2022 We’ve been seeing some amazing skill during our Primary athletics rotations. The standard set by our Year 3 girls today was amazing!

17.01.2022 A beautiful moment captured in our art room. We love seeing these kind moments between friends!

17.01.2022 Our school office is open! Even though our school grounds are closed to parents and visitors, our school office is still open for day-to-day requirements including early student pick up and enrolment enquiries. We have sanitising stations available for any visitors and are happy to help with any queries or concerns you may have about your children or the school.

16.01.2022 It's been a fabulous two days of fun activities for Year 1 and 2! Our infants athletics rotations have been a great success!

16.01.2022 1M wrote letters to author Philip Bunting... and he wrote back! Year 1 loved his book 'Not Cute' and emailed him letters about the text. They were surprised and so grateful when he then replied to the email and gave each student an individual response! Such a great experience that has encouraged these young students in their literacy learning. Thank you, Phil!

15.01.2022 #ruokday is a great chance for us to open up a range of conversations and make meaningful connections with those around us. This article has some great advice and strategies for students in particular regarding wellbeing and mental health. Check it out!

14.01.2022 Sharing stories is something we encourage families to do every day. Perhaps this story about Swoosh and Glide could become one of those stories families share. This adventure is about a fun sleepover for sugar glider cousins. The picture book shares some of the common technology experiences of children, shows what to do when something happens on a screen and highlights safe online practices for the whole family. "Swoosh, Glide and Rule Number 5" makes it easy to start the chat about online safety with young children!

13.01.2022 Fancy a walk on Friday morning? It's the perfect chance to walk with your child to school and have a chat about road safety.

11.01.2022 WOW! We're so excited to announce that from gold coin donations alone, we were able to raise $1216.85 for I98FM Illawarra Convoy! Put that together with the money from the wrist bands and staff shirts we sold and our combined total amounts to over $2000! With this money, we'll be able to buy a slot for our school on The People's Truck and also make a sizeable donation to Convoy.... We can't thank our school community enough for coming together to support a cause that is so close to our hearts.

10.01.2022 Two days (almost) down, and our Year 6 students have had a cracking start to their camp! After making the trip up, yesterday they spent the afternoon kayaking and cooling off in the pool... for which they were even joined a family of ducks!

10.01.2022 You've seen our Kindergarten classrooms in action, now check out some of the brilliant facilities our students get to utilise at school during our second virtual tour!

08.01.2022 Kindergarten love when it's time to get out our Bee-Bots. These robots help to develop so many skills as students program and operate them! #BeeBots #STEM #Technology

07.01.2022 So what do you do when your community can’t visit your annual art gallery? You bring your art gallery to the community! It’s time to reveal our big surprise that our whole school has been working on. Next term, we will be holding our first outdoor public art exhibition. Our gallery, titled Mona Lisa Reimagined will display huge class murals designed and painted by every class at our school. The paintings will be displayed for all to see on the school fence along Fairwater Drive during week 2 next term. We’re all so excited for you to see our beautiful work.

We've got lots of excited students back at school now, jumping straight back into learning and settling into their new classrooms. 05.01.2022 Our school had a jam-packed week last week as we celebrated #NAIDOCWeek2020. Throughout the week, students participated in many different activities that helped them explore the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. These included traditional games, art, dance and literacy activities. Last week would not have been possible without the help of community and school leaders - THANK YOU!

04.01.2022 Our Kindergarten students had a lovely day outside today doing their athletics rotations!

03.01.2022 Earlier this month we held our 2021 Swimming Carnival. A few of our lucky teachers ventured down to Dapto Public Pool with 70 of our students to take part in a day full of water fun.
