13.01.2022 New Years Eve & it's sunrise yoga & painting on a hilltop in a pretty little town I do not know. Life is nice!! Insta threw me this 'suggested memory', a little gem from 2 years ago to reflect on. Hmmm, let's see... I was barely finding my feet as a full-time creative after ditching my hospitality back-up job once & for all at the start of that year. A struggling suddenly sole parent, & quietly getting over a spirit destroying dating life. But look at that crooked-toothed sm...ile - despite all the chaos, man was I happy as fuck! (Still completely self conscious about my crooked smile - only so much growth we can manage in a few years! ) As we bring in the Next Decade it's been 3 years of creative living, determined to make life work on my own terms doing what I love & spending my days with people actively working on making positive changes in this world. So today is the day to farewell the shitty times of this past era with gratitude for growth, carry forward with the positives, & wrap up the day with thankyous to all the people who have rocked my world these last few years & helped me build a creative & fulfilling life. So massively grateful. See more
13.01.2022 Everything is a canvas. I call these guys my portable pieces. I carry a stash of old records & paints in the car with me. When I have a free moment or need to find some calm I work on the mandalas. When they're done they get a resin finish & a clock centre.... Handmade with love. See more
