24.01.2022 When your past pops up 1991 Pottz surfboards . I was privileged that Martin Potter asked me to shape him some boards as we were brothers from other mothers ever Since his first trip to Australia it all started with a drop in I wasn’t impressed and started at him .Michael Ho settled me down as we were old friends and hung out every time they ( Hawaiian boy ) came to Cronulla good times . Well two turned into many and we started Pottz surfboards together in 1991 . And that’s... how with the trust of a world champion. I became a competent shaper the more you do the better you become . It quickly became 10 to 12 hand shaped a day . And one time in japan 22 Handshapes in 24 hours on the last day and way to many orders . Many trips to Japan 3 times a year 500 boards a year and 75% of them customs . The U.S Hawaii Europe New Zealand. Built my knowledge and having the privilege to watch and meet some of best shapers . A good board comes from experience design come from trail and error. It takes many boards evolution.
