"DARE was delighted to welcome The Hon Gareth Ward, Minister for Disability Services to visit the Community Activities Centre in Springwood and meet with staff and clients. A big thank you to Minister Ward for all your support!

Greg and Surf Lifesaving Australia will lead a special virtual training class on Saturday the 19th of September, at 7pm AEST. You can register by following the link below. 16.01.2022 We want to recognise all of our amazing carers today. This year has been incredibly difficult with constant changes to rosters, homes in lockdown, and at times, entire services stopped for weeks at a time. During this period our staff have adjusted to new cleaning, PPE, and social distancing rules, and some have even learned new skills and pivoted to new roles within DARE. ... Recently, we celebrated our amazing staff with small care packages as a token of our thanks for all the hard work that they do. We had some really lovely feedback from these packs and wanted to share some nice words from Monique: "I came into my shift at Yerrang tonight to find this bag of goodies waiting for me, and wanted to say a heartfelt thank you to you all. Since commencing employment with Dare 6 months ago, I have been so impressed by the communication, respect and kindness shown throughout the company. This is the first time I have worked for a company whose positivity and success appears to have filtered down from management done right. I am so grateful to be a member of the Dare team, thank you again!"
