23.01.2022 Dear valued clients of Darkest Hours Salon, Despite yesterday’s Facebook post, with the new restrictions and careful consideration I have decided to make the heartbreaking decision to temporarily close the doors to my salon Please trust me when I say this decision has not been made lightly but I can't possibly be 1.5m away from all my clients and offer services to them in 30mins, As well as maintain the safety of myself, my family and my clients. ... As most of you know I work from my parents home who are both over the age of 50 - 60 and are at high risk of catching COVID-19. I would much rather be safe than sorry when it comes to their health also. I know this will come of much inconvenience to some of you and for that I am truly sorry. I have spoken at great length with a nurse friend who has assisted me with as much advice as possible on the seriousness of the pandemic and I’ve made this decision accordingly. I would love to stay open as I also need money coming through the door but if you ask me to choose between health and money... I pick HEALTH every time!! To all my AMAZING and extremely SUPPORTIVE clients I would also like to say a massive THANK YOU You guys have kept me in business all these years and I couldn’t be more grateful to of had all your ongoing support and friendship throughout that time. I hope you all stay safe, stand strong and continue to support one another through this stressful and uncertain time. Coming from someone who has wanted to deny the severity of this situation, I am now pleading with you all to be safe rather than sorry and to do the right things Hope to see you all in the very near future, I thank you in advance for your patience and understanding. EFTPOS I do have EFTPOS however there is a 1.95% surcharge when paying with card. Pay ID - To pay with Pay ID means that you can do a bank transfer using my mobile number and I will receive the money instantly. This also means there will be NO surcharge. Please understand that if you are paying with Pay ID this option only works if your bank has Pay ID also and you have registered as a Pay ID member. Cash You are more than welcome to pay with cash. Please try to bring the correct cash as I may not have correct change available. *Late arrivals and Cancellations* Please understand that I am on my own and my appointments are running back to back so any late arrivals make me run into my other appointments. If you are held up due to circumstances beyond your control PLEASE phone to let me know and we can make an informed decision on whether or not we have to reschedule (anything more than 15 minutes late we will have to reschedule). If you need to cancel I ask for at least 24hrs notice, this just means if you are unable to attend I have enough time to fill the spot. *Contact information* Please know that if you message on a Sunday or Monday it may take me a day or so to reply (as those are my days off) but I can assure you, you have not been forgotten. The best way to contact me is mostly through message on Facebook or Text message. As I work on my own I’m often at the basin rinsing or my hands are covered in colour so I often can’t pick up the phone. 13.01.2022 Hello beautiful people, Since getting back to work I’ve been flat out no better feeling in the world than being busy doing what I love I will still be doing a quick eyeshadow tutorial soon, just struggling to find the time now that I’m no longer in iso ... In the mean time, get a load of this beauty Mikaela and I have been gradually going lighter and it’s been a lot of fun the whole way through! You don’t always have to go through yucky orange stages whilst going lighter. It’s a process but if you’re willing to be patient with the build up process, it’ll still look pretty at every stage It’s taken 4 appointments of gradually lightening and moving up the balayage whilst still keeping the integrity of the hair 1 more appointment to go and we’ll be exactly where we want to be. Yay!

On another note.... this is a great solution for hiding regrowth if your struggling atm I have many clients that use this Magic Retouch Spray and others just like it. It’s great to spray down the part line of the hair to disguise any regrowth. It comes in many different shades and stays in until you wash your hair, so if you wanted you could get a few days out of it

04.01.2022 Hello Beautiful people I just want to do an overdue life update for you all. For those of you who don’t know, I am now working full time from home Tuesday through to Saturday.... I have enjoyed my time immensely at Spencer’s Barber Shed. I want to thank Spencer and the team from the bottom of my heart for all the ongoing support I have received and the skills that I have learnt. You’re all incredibly talented people and I’m honoured to be able to call you guys my friends. Text and fb messenger is still the best way to contact me as I’m often in the middle of doing a colour or rinsing and can’t really answer calls. Please feel free to text me if you request a call back and I’m happy to do so when I have a spare moment. I am taking on NEW CLIENTS now that I have more time on my hands, I’m excited to see some new faces.
