25.01.2022 The Darley CC is delighted to announce that we are planning to launch (COVID-19 permitting) our Woolworths Junior Cricket Program from Friday 23rd October at 6.00pm at Darley Park. The program will continue through to 5th March 2021 (with break for Xmas). The FREE 10 week leadership program will run weekly from 4:30pm to 6pm on Fridays (starting Friday July 17th 2020)... The program will be delivered through Zoom. This is a great opportunity for some of our 14 - 16 netball and football youth to participate - and its FREE! Your networking future starts now guys so sign up to the community leadership program that will lead to more opportunities and it looks amazing on your CV! The Youth Leadership Project focuses on increasing self-awareness, social awareness and ultimately community impact. A key outcome of the program is the Social Impact Project, designed to provide all participants with the opportunity to develop a project to deliver in their local community which focuses on a local or global social cause. 18.01.2022 To our Devil Families, As you have no doubt seen, the 2020 Junior BFNL season has been officially cancelled. Although we have yet to hear from the RDJFNL, it is likely that our girls football and U9s football will also be affected. Due to this, the Executive committee have made the difficult decision to postpone all training until further notice. We know that our kids will be disappointed, as are we.... Despite this, we are hopeful and eager that we may have the opportunity to offer our kids training, some fun activities and even a game or two later this year. If this happens, we know we are well placed to provide these in a fun and safe environment for our kids and community. I would personally like to take this opportunity to thank the committee and coaches for their tireless efforts and tremendous amount of work to get the season up and running. Thank you to our Devil families and the countless number of volunteers that have put their hand up to assist during this period. Every effort large or small never goes unnoticed and is always appreciated. A big thank you also to our sponsors who have stuck with us despite such a challenging year, we could not manage it without your support. Finally, I want to thank our kids. This year has been the most difficult one you have faced and it sucks that youve missed out on so much. But we want you to know that the DJFNC is still here for you. We will be working hard in the background, doing our best to offer something for you to look forward to later in the year. 17.01.2022 DJFNC was excited to receive a message from President Rohan Mathews this morning confirming the Funding for Darley Pavilion: A lot of hard work was done by the previous committee, DFC and DCC... Side by side we are working to provide a greater football and netball experience for our community. 2020 might go down as the year we lost our footy... but this pavilion news is definitely a great sign of a brighter future.

06.01.2022 To our Junior Devil families, We hope you are all doing well and staying safe during this challenging time. We are excited to announce that the BFNL have made the decision to go ahead with a shortened 2020 Junior season. With many Junior families keen to see a return to playing in 2020, we are committed to support you as best we can. Please log into TEAM APP now or check your emails for the important attachments and links.... We want to assure all our families that there is no expectation that kids participate in Football or Netball this season. The Coaches and Committee understand the risks associated in contracting COVID-19 and what it may mean to family members health, potential impact to businesses and employment. Therefore, we want you to know we support and encourage each family to make the decision that is in their own best interests. If you feel the risk to participate is too great, we support you and will be here for you in 2021! For those who can participate in 2020, we ask everyone; Participants, Parents/Guardians, Family and Friends to please follow the protocols that we need to put in place. These protocols have been provided to us by State and Federal Governments, AFL Vic, Netball Vic, the BFNL and the Moorabool Shire Council. We need to follow these to protect our Club and the health and wellbeing of our Community. We ask you all to be respectful of our volunteers who need to enforce these protocols. Without these being followed, and without the volunteers, training sessions and the season simply wont run! We are uncertain of what is around the corner and are working hard to keep up to date with the rapidly changing information as it comes to hand. This may mean things change and we need to make decisions on the fly. If so, we will do our best to keep you informed as quickly and as best we can. While its not going to be easy, we know we can do it and we ask for your help in any way you can.
