20.01.2022 I have a little gift shop in the main corridor of a Pyrmont Hotel (just behind Darling Harbour). As I have experienced, a gift shop is NOT what the hotel needs and doing my sort of market research, the only thing that would absolutely go so very successful is a hairdressing salon. The nearest salon is rather far away, and the hotel's clientele is: permanent residents, overseas and interstate visitors. There is a swimming pool, spa and gym in the hotel and no one to wash and set hair. Rent is cheap at $390 per week including GST and also including 1 car space. 01.01.2022 I will be closing down Darling Harbour Gifts in April when the lease runs out, so EVERYTHING is on sale and no reasonable offer will be refused. Time to hang up the boots and take it easy.
