19.01.2022 Well done Bianca for putting in the hard yards to get her horse Finny working properly in canter. Today he was up hill in a frame with great rhythm! This was not an easy challenge it has taken months and a pretty detailed weekly work schedule to get this horse here!! There was a time when we didn’t think we could get a 20metre circle to the right with this horse! #hardworkpaysoff... #teamddrc #stressage See more

18.01.2022 What a lovely update from our friend Bec about one of our retrained race horses, Heaven. Bec bought Heaven from us to get back into competitions with in 2013. She had a number of successful results then put Heaven in foal to Hilkens Nougat Cream (German riding pony) Last week Heaven had her baby Joy and both are doing well ... Congratulations Bec and Heaven, we are so looking forward to seeing little Joy’s future

15.01.2022 The team headed to Darling Downs Show Jumping Clubs ribbon day yesterday. Breanna Geange- riding DDRC’s OTT (racing only a month ago) Gary. Gary was as absolute legend, taking it all in his stride, getting a little quick but absolutely no silly behaviour! And looking just beautiful over the jumps which he only learnt to do a week ago! Brea also rode DDRC’s Rupert a lovely warmblood we have in training going for his second ever outing. Rupert behaved like an old professi...onal, falling asleep in his yard, walking around like he’d been out a thousand times before. He is just such a genuine, sweet horse Thank you Brea for your brilliant riding! Sian Veivers- doing her first ever show jumping outing who has only been riding for 1 year! 3rd in the cross rails 2nd in the 60cm Abbey Conlan doing her second ever show jumping day and taking her horse Drake for his first little comp! 2nd in the cross rails A lovely 60cm round These two have come so far and are definitely a combination to watch for the future! Cindy Baker taking her horse Henley and herself out after a bit of a break from show jumping days, they have both been out jumping before but a first time together A nice cross rails round 3rd in the 60cm Chloe Salmon taking her horse April out for some more jumping experience, unfortunately hit the deck yesterday but she got back up and on and cheered the team on for the rest of the day Emilie Peck who has been competing Little Blackie for a while now did her first ever 70cm round and made it look easy! 60cm- 4th 70cm- 5th Super proud of our DDRC’s riders and the beautiful team we have. Riding is even more fun when you have friends to share it with Thanks to the people behind the scenes as well Jen, Ainsley, Em, Dani, Dusanka, Katrina and Rick!
