18.01.2022 Chatting with Dottore Enrico Letta, former Prime Minister of Italy (April 2013-Feb 2014), and Professor Lesley Harbon, at the University of Technology Sydney, today. Dr Letta gave a most interesting talk on the relationship between Italy and the EU, with an emphasis on the problem the economic crisis in Greece poses for the EU as a whole.

16.01.2022 Our principal solicitor, Jennifer Pierno, at a seminar on superannuation today. Did you know that 69.5% of self-managed superannuation funds in Australia have just two members - husband and wife/partners. Also pictured is Bob Lees, Business Development Manager of Legalsuper which sponsored the seminar. You do not have to be a solicitor in order to put your super with Legalsuper. Bob can be contacted on 0400 402 414

16.01.2022 15 March 2019. Super proud to move the admission of my son Henry Obrien in Banco Court, Queens Square. I never expected such a proud moment and thought I would burst into tears (didnt). I reached 40 years in practice (no breaks) in Dec 2018 and survived breast cancer (the works) seven years ago. So my message to all lawyer mums is: just keep going, no matter what

12.01.2022 Attended the Red Mass at St Mary's Cathedral this morning celebrating commencement of the Law Term. Caught up with Father Louis at the morning tea in Cathedral House.

09.01.2022 An interesting morning attending an advocacy workshop at the Law Society of NSW. The speakers kindly agreed to a photo - Patrick Griffin Senior Counsel, and David Evenden, Solicitor Advocate, Legal Aid NSW

07.01.2022 A short article emphasising the importance of an understanding of international law

07.01.2022 Attended the Red Mass at St Marys Cathedral this morning. The Red Mass celebrates the commencement of the Law Term, and owes its name to the red robes worn by judges and red vestments worn by the clergy. The first Red Mass was celebrated in Paris in 1245, and in London around 1310. It is still celebrated annually in Westminster Cathedral.
