02.01.2022 Groups of ten... The worksheet is completed by students sitting down, pencil on paper, two dimensional, in a quiet, clean, orderly environment. The containers are arranged into groups of ten by students who know (or soon will) that every group of ten containers will give them a dollar. It's messy (and a bit stinky), noisy, active, takes a bit longer to organise and to complete, but there's a tangible result at the end of the learning activity. This is "real world" maths....
