23.01.2022 Elaine Cloherty is all set up and ready to take your contributions of natural materials to form her introspective artwork specific to the beautiful site that is Darlington! We have had a slight venue change and you will now find Elaine on the bank of the oval near the cricket hit-up nets.

11.01.2022 Friends With Words is an invitation to come outside and interact and make friends playing a scrabble style game that has been freed of competitiveness and scoring. Using found object twig letters and a giant board you can take a turn or play a whole game with friends or strangers. And while you cannot break or change the letters you can turn them upside down or back to front to suit your word or you can find your own twigs to add the fun. Clever word play, inventive spelling and acts of good sportsmanship will all be applauded. Come join the game behind the hit up wall on Saturday and Sunday

08.01.2022 What_is_she_building_in_there? Well, it’s up to you really. @britt_mikkelsen_art_and_design has made a start but tomorrow it is your turn to weave and wind and wander through the trees. Come and find Britt between the pavilion and the skate park for a weave or just spend some time in what promises to be a spectacular ephemeral artwork in the theme of this year’s introspection.

06.01.2022 Our ephemeral sculptures are for all ages this year. This little spider has been doing an excellent job on Britt Mikkelsen’s introspective web

02.01.2022 Thanks to the WONDERFUL young artists who created a few fabulous mini murals at the Darlington Skatepark over the DAF weekend. Special thanks to the brilliant Diane Parker from Helena College who organised the project, and to Trish Cook, Allie Cormack and Tania Whisson for lending a hand. Hopefully there’ll be more to come #youthart #skatelife #darlingtonartsfestival ... #youthproject #helenacollege See more
