23.01.2022 *Darlington Santa Run* Santa's elves and helpers have been busily putting together the routes for the Darlington VBFB Santa Run. There will be 2 Santa Runs happening simultaneously; north and south of the Railway Heritage Trail, both leaving the Darlington Fire Station at 4pm this Sunday. If Santa won't be travelling along your street, consider walking to see him nearby, visiting a friend's house along the route, or coming to see Santa at Darlington Oval after his drive (some... time after 5pm). We have also provided for short stops at Leschen Park, Girvan Park, Gladys St, Hubert St and Darlington Station carpark. As well as the maps showing Santa's routes, we will also be providing links to our 'Santa Tracker' app on Sunday, so you will be able to see where Santa is during his drive, and help you plan ahead. For everyone's safety Santa will NOT be visiting along Darlington Rd, Ryecroft Rd, Leithdale Rd and the top of Glen Rd. Thank you for your understanding. Santa will also be travelling along BOTH sides of Lionel Rd, so please don't let your children cross Lionel, we will head north first, then south. Thank you to all of the community members that requested streets for Santa to visit, we had 36 streets suggested. If Santa isn't visiting your street it will be with access and everyone's safety in mind. We hope you understand. See more
