25.01.2022 Connection is the opposite of addiction .....I am not the hard nut I believed myself to be ..... I did this portrait of my friend Ash's mother , who passed away earlier this year. I gave it to her this evening. Ash's tears well up with joy. She broke down and hugged me (ok social distancing not observed as it should not have been in this case). My heart felt a tug or two. As MY tears began to well up, I said "no problem, it was a pleasure", as I walked away. It made my week.
