23.01.2022 Melissa and Luka enjoyed a meal tonight and few drinks on the deck. The Patio heater was going nicely and their dog Toby was a bit camera shy but we got him.

08.01.2022 I was elected to council in 2012, since this time I have served three years as deputy mayor and one year as Mayor. I have studied in Law, Accounting and Busine...ss management and in 2016 completed a Masters of Business Administration. I am the owner of Dartmouth Hotel. I live in the township of Dartmouth with my two children, Mia (Arrived 7 days after I first nominated to represent Towong Shire as a Councillor) and Preston (Arrived 1 year and 24 days before I was relected for my second term). I commit myself to the our entire community on a number of boards and community groups, volunteer willingly. I have previously been the president of Mitta Primary School Council for 7 years. I have been the President, committee member and now Treasurer of Dartmouth Community Progress Association for over 18 years. I believe our Shire has much to offer and that we need to encourage business and agricultural pursuits to attract and retain young families. Increased pressure needs to be applied to State and Federal Government to look at funding models of rural councils to relieve the financial burden on the ratepayer. With a passion and great understanding of early childhood development, financially sustainable business practices, budgeting and business development, I offer the Towong Shire ratepayer value for money, honesty and integrity and a commitment to the needs of our shire as a whole. 05.01.2022 Well! We went through lockdown 1, and kept serving takeaway! We reopened when we could and did our best! We kept going through lockdown 2 and had a glimmer of hope things may ease! Obviously it’s not going to happen for a while longer. We can not continue to run at a loss daily, monthly and weekly! We will be closed from Monday until Thursday at least this week while we work out our future direction. Thanks all for the support over these hard times and look forward to ‘getting on the beers’ with you soon!
