25.01.2022 Darts ACT would like to advise that after discussions with the venues Wednesday Night competition will continue with some changes to hygene and this will be conveyed to the captains. As this is a constantly changing situation we will keep our members informed of any changes.

23.01.2022 Hi All, Thursday Night league is kicking off tomorrow night at the Burns Club at 7pm. Please be there by 6.45 to go through the rules.

22.01.2022 Notice to All Darts ACT Members. Due to the limited competitions we were able to play this year because of Covid 19, Darts ACT has opted not to hold a formal presentation night this year. However, we did feel it necessary that some form of presentation be held for the winners and finalists of the Winter Comp and the Divisionals. As a result there will be an informal presentation at the conclusion of the Grand Finals next Wednesday evening at the Burns Club Kambah. Awards... to be presented are; 1. New members of the 180 club 2. Div 1 Triples, Doubles and Singles 3. Premier Triples, Doubles and Singles 4. Div 1 Winter comp finalists 5. Div 1 Winter comp winners 6. Premier Winter comp finalists 7. Premier Winter comp winners We are trying to organise some sort of finger food but can’t promise anything but there will be allotted funds for certain beverages. Details to be finalised on the night and all members are welcome to attend. Hope to see you there. See more

21.01.2022 Final Call for THURSDAY NIGHT SINGLES Starting Thursday 8 Oct Thursday Night Singles is going to be starting again in October. This round we will be playing out of the Burns Club. If you are interested in playing please contact me on 0414545155 or through the face book page. It will cost $75 for 8 rounds and money needs to be paid up front at the start of the season. Looking forward to getting back to the Thursday Night League. Kathy

19.01.2022 Notice to Darts ACT Members Darts ACT has received an email today from one of our venues referring to government guidlines on social distancing and recommendations they would like us to take. As a result the Darts ACT executive committee will be holding a meeting tonight. Darts ACT members will be advised the outcome of this meeting at its completion.

19.01.2022 Darts ACt received the sad news yesterday that Leigh Beswick's Liver Cancer has returned. Leigh will be flying back to Perth as soon as she is well enough. if you would like to see Leigh before she goes back to Perth she in Canberra Hospital ward 9A Room 10. If you are wondering what to do today perhaps you could go and give Garry a hand clearing the shed out. You know the more hands make light work.

13.01.2022 Darts ACT would like to thank all players who turned up for the Divisional Triples and Singles. Not a bad turn out with 18 players all up. Results of the Premier Triples Winners... Darren Carson,Judd Hoyle and Jon(Taff) Pearson. Runners Up Tony Smith, Shaun Kirk and Bryson Williams Division One Triples Winners Melissa Forrest, Natalie Van der Westhuizen and Wayne Pettit Runners up Dwayne Woodhouse, Julie Royle and Alison Cox. Great darts thrown by all in the triples. Premier Singles Winner Bryson Williams Runner Up John Pangilinan Division One Singles Winner Wayne Pettit Runners Up Jackson Rowe Well done to all 4 players in the final. Very nice to see some new players winning.

11.01.2022 Notice to Darts ACT Members. I would just like to advise members that I will not be seeking a position on the committee next year. I've been on the committee approx 6 years, the last 4 or so as President. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the committee members, especially Kris and Kathy and non committee members who have worked long and hard during this period and gone above and beyond in their support for me. The idea behind giving members early notification is so people interested in being part of the committee can, if they wish, attend the last 2 meetings of this year to see how everything works. The next meeting is tomorrow night, 7pm at the Southern Cross Club Woden.

10.01.2022 Notice to Darts ACT Members As a result of closures to all Clubs in the ACT From Midday today, Darts ACT advise all members that all Darts Competitions, Social Darts and Darts Tournaments have been suspended until further notice. Members will be informed of any changes as they arise.

08.01.2022 Darts ACT wishes to advise that due to the current uncertainty of access to our venues, the committee has decided to abandon the 2020 Summer Season. All team fees paid for the 2020 Summer Season will be held over till the next season. Darts ACT are hoping that we can commence the 2020 Winter Season by mid August or early September. Further details will be available as soon as they come to hand. Please be aware that there will be special conditions that will have to be adher...ed to when we return to play. Darts ACT Committee

05.01.2022 R.I.P Leigh Beswick Darts ACT wish to advise of the passing of Leigh at 1.29am on Sunday morning in Perth. Leigh was surrounded by family and friends. Leigh will missed by the ACT darting community and the many frends that she has made in the darting community. Our condolences go out to her Husband Gary, Annette and the rest of the family. Leigh will be missed by all of darting community in Australia.

As you may know, we are aiming to use Dart Connect for our Wednesday night comp.Creating a guest account lets you see your averages/stats, as well as a heap of other features.
