23.01.2022 WHITE 20 This weeks Friday night comp will be a White 20 comp again. all boards will be rotated so the 20 is a white wedge instead of Black. PLEASE NOTE NEW RULE: Player that finishes 5th in the round robin stage will Chalk the first round of the knockout. ... Round Robin format. 4 boards, 5 players per board. Best of 3. Top 2 from each board taken to K/out stage. Top 8 - best of 3 Top 4 - best of 5 Final - best of 7 Please read the rules & regulations for attending the Friday night social darts at GDC. The first 20 players to INBOX the GDC Facebook page or sms 0424 114 239, will be registered to play. YOU MUST INBOX for yourself. You can not inbox or sms to enter someone else. NO SPECTATORS allowed in the venue. No one under the age of 18 allowed in the venue. EVERYONE that enters the club will need to sign in at the door, providing name, phone number and post code. No players allowed from Hot Spot Postcodes. Social distancing will apply whilst in the club with the 1.5 meter rule being adhered to by all. Sanitizer will be available for all to use prior to each game. No handshaking will be permitted, a simply verbal greeting before and after a game will suffice. Play is open to members only. Memberships can be paid on the night - $30 full Member. $20 pension. $10 entry fee to play per person. To make it fair if you play this week you CANNOT play next week to give everyone a chance to enjoy our game. Top 4 players will be exception and automatically entered into following week. Registered players Names will be posted on the GDC Facebook page on the Thursday night around 6pm. Players code of Conduct applies. No abuse, threats or intimidation will be tolerated. GDC adhere to the Darts Victoria Retun to Sport Plan and the restrictions and regulations put in place by the Chief Health Officer and the Victorian Government. Geelong Darts Association will be running a Competition Thurs 7th/14th and 28th. Geelong Darts Showdown event Graded will be run by all three Geelong Leagues Thursday 21st Jan. Players from ALL 3 Leagues are welcomed to all these events.

09.01.2022 We at Darts Victoria are sorry to inform everyone that DV has had to cancel the Bendigo 5 a side this year due to COVID restrictions. Non contact indoor spor...ts are required to have no more than 50 people participating. Couple that with the masks required whilst playing and the mixture of drinking and eating within the venue, it's not feasible to run it at this time. We are hopefull that we will be able to hold it next year. We are truely sorry that we need to cancel the much anticipated tournament but it's out of our hands. DV Exec.

Juniors may play as long as they have a guardian in the venue ( you may not transfer this guardianship. Who you come in with is who you must leave with)..Covid restrictions shall apply: Sign in to enter the venue hand sanitizer upon entry and MUST be used throughout the evening. We will only be playing on every second board, you must go to the right after collecting... your darts, thus allowing space for the chalker. The tables are set at 4 to a table you may not move the chairs to add to another table. One person at a time at the bar. No seating at the bar. Other than that all is normal .. lol .. Look forward to seeing our Dart Family again. Also we will be running a Drawn Doubles on Saturday 28th Nov Doors open 12.30pm. Names in by 1pm..
