24.01.2022 Darts Victoria AGM details.

24.01.2022 Terrific turn out for the Geelong Dart Club fundraiser. Raising some much needed funds for the club due to being closed for 8 months already during covid. Team Platinum did an amazing job taking care of the player and keeping the matches running smoothly. Message Team Platinum if your club or your league would like them to host a fundraiser to help!

23.01.2022 We are asking for nominations for Darts Victoria President and Men's CD. Head over to the DV website for job descriptions for each role. We would love to start of 2021 with a bang and some new fresh faces to help lead the way. Email Carolyn Gilbert with your nominations at [email protected] via your leagues Secretary.

21.01.2022 Attention important information We have received confirmation from WDF and DA that WDF have removed their points from the tournaments held in Jan and Feb. What that means for Victoria is that there will be no WDF points being awarded at the Morwell classic. The tournament is still going ahead (at this stage, but will reassess if restrictions change, but we will inform everyone when/if required). We still hope to see everyone at Morwell for the first tournament of 2021. 23-24 Jan.

13.01.2022 We at Darts Victoria are sorry to inform everyone that DV has had to cancel the Bendigo 5 a side this year due to COVID restrictions. Non contact indoor sports are required to have no more than 50 people participating. Couple that with the masks required whilst playing and the mixture of drinking and eating within the venue, it's not feasible to run it at this time. We are hopefull that we will be able to hold it next year. We are truely sorry that we need to cancel the much anticipated tournament but it's out of our hands. DV Exec.

06.01.2022 So coming off the back of cancelling Bendigo 5-a side we wanted to let everyone know our current stance with Morwell. We know everyone is anxious to play darts and want to know what's happening and from this moment in time it is still going ahead. We have to be mindful of the current covid situation and the governments restrictions they have in place. We don't want to leave it till the last minute but we also don't want to cancel it too early. We are prepared for it to go ahead and are excited to see everyone. However we again have to watch for the changes in restrictions. We will let everyone know in due course, so please just wait for us to make an announcement. We are constantly discussing and are keeping in contact with Latrobe Council. We are doing everything we can on our end to make this end happen. Thanks DV Exec

02.01.2022 Juniors championship update In conjunction with the states and DA it has been decided that there will not be a juniors championship for 2021. Further information will be provided in the coming months as to the 2022 championships. We are truly devastated that it will not go ahead but a lot of thought went into the decision. Covid-19 has impacted Victoria and Australia as a whole in a tremendous way.... We are eager to get back into darts in 2021. Please see Darts Australia's socials for future junior competitions in the coming months.
