24.01.2022 Yet another master-class from the no so young Rajesh Pillai

23.01.2022 Second consecutive victory for blasters over Darwin Thunders by 10 wickets. Hats of to Suneeth Vs for his first t20 100 for blasters from 41 balls. Chasing 146 Suneeth remained 119 not out with 13 x 6’s and 9x 4’s who was well supported by Jithin Mohan Earlier blasters bowlers restricted darwin Thunder to 145. Raphael Muranty top pick among bowlers with 3-0-12-4. Now blasters move on to play darwin dingoes at tiwi oval at 1330 next Sunday. Thanks to all our sponsors.

23.01.2022 THE OFFICIAL DARWIN BLASTERS 2020 SQUAD RELEASE! Led by captain Boney Sebastian and vice captain Justin Chakkedan.

23.01.2022 Three Teams has been decided for Semifinals and there will be a battle to get the remaining spot tomorrow in Top four. #AsiacupDarwin2019 #Round4

22.01.2022 As we commence into our Asia Cup Tournament of 2019, we would like to congratulate 3 very special players that have performed outstandingly throughout this season. Captain and leading wicket taker Boney Sebastian, leading runscorrer with 2 back to back centuries Suneeth VS and Mr.consistent Ajay Emmanuel. Suneeth, the leading runscorrer in the tournament with 615 runs, was recognised by NT Cricket for his brilliance throughout. Boney Sebastian that led the inexperienced side to the semi finals took a mammoth 33 wickets which was the highest of all players in the grade, was also recognised by NT cricket for a shared Champion Player award of the year. Ajay Emmanuel who consistently performed throughout the season, scored six 50s and one 100 also shared the Champion Player award. Well done boys.

22.01.2022 Okay but seriously though boys. What's that I see? Pop on your rainbow sunnies because what I see is another semi finals.i guess the magic number is not 210, but 4. 4 consistent semi finals and 5th time lucky. Hard works gonna pay of boys. Another emphatic victory and this time, what a team effort. Everyone pulled up their socks on a hot sunny day and to deliver a first innings score of 209 on a not-so-friendly batsmens tracks goes to show that once you stay. YOU STAY. ...Its yet again the ageing Mr. Consistent Rajesh Pillai with another 50. The season average of 55 does not justify the type of innings that he's produced throughout the season. Keep it up boy and keep going. Pantless VS Sunneth was amongst the run this week as well scoring his second 50 of the season. 2 more games and 2 more 50s please champion. Both players stole the show with tit for tat 50s that cannot be compared. Equally as classy boys. Big shout to Jithu Bhai the chocolate boy Mr. Jithin Mohan that was also amongst the runs to add the finishing touches to the innings. Getting warmed up for the semis? 2 blinders in short cover as well. In the bowling department all 4 bowlers was quick amongst the wickets to seal the match. Captain Boney Sebastian was the pick of the bowlers for me, picking up a magnificent 4 wickets in his 8 overs. His figures were the standout of the match with. 4/22 with 3 maidens. Equally, Alen Paapan Jose and Jonothan Caderamanpulle was up to the task as well. Jonathan picked up 2 for 15 in his 5 overs with 3 maidens as well. But the evergreen Alen Jose yet again picked up 3 wickets in his 5 overs finish with 3 for 27. Consistency is primary and you've been delivering all season. Keep going Don't drop now boys. 2 more games and thats it. Keep working hard. Put in that extra yard, train that little harder. Keep your head down and stay positive. I see the finish line. Good work boys. Proud.

22.01.2022 Better late than never. An unmentioned win that was packed with exceptional performances. On the 5th of July Darwin Blasters defeated Southern Stars from University. Stand out performer is yet again Alen Paapan Jose with both bat and ball. Paapan had bowling figures of 8 overs of 3/30 and a handy but effective short cameo of 22 runs. Rajesh Pillai again had exceptional figures of 8 overs, 4 maidens for 3/7. Batting had few sparks but Jithin Mohan’s 37, Boney Sebastian 27, Lalit Vig's 22 not out and Ajay Enmanuel 21 helped the cause. Good all-around performances by the team. Keep it up boys. Let's keep the trend.

21.01.2022 Well played Michael Warner on your 4 wickets for E grade. Expect the same next weekend.

21.01.2022 Suneeth VS continuing his tremendous form. Another century with a 100 not out of 41 balls. He smashed 11 sixes and 9 fours. And still continuing.

20.01.2022 Superb finish at the death overs...Great paddle scoop by rohan boy to finish off... great work buddy

20.01.2022 Today for the first time, the Blasters were challenged with a huge exposure for the middle and lower order. Blasters held together however with contributions from most middle order batsmen. Ceylon Warriors restricted Darwin Blasters to 103 after 20 overs. Yet Darwin Blasters rose to the occasion by producing the best bowling performance ever seen with Boney, Alan, Ajay and Shameem all contributing in restricting Ceylon Warriors to 37. Boney opened the bowling and set amazing figures of 4 for 11 after 4 overs. This was followed by Alan that produced the ball of the match and setting figures of 2 for 6. Shameem also contributed with the best figures of the day with of 4 for 6. Amazing stuff from the bowlers. Well done Blasters. Undefeated and heading to the semi-finals

19.01.2022 Here we are! Its cricket o'clock and its time to play!

18.01.2022 Superb finish at the death overs...That cameout of nowhere....## whatta hit Bibin!!... no words

18.01.2022 Good win steered by a great innings. Almost a lone hand from not so young Rajesh Pillai to dig the blasters out to finally curb the Tracy jinx. First win in almost 2 seasons in Tracy and what a way to do it. The game started with clean bowling figures of 1/21 in 8 over for Boney Sebastain. Rajesh Pillai however stole the show with figures of 4/21 in 7 and a half overs. The batting yet again failed to astonish at the start but a hard fought innings by Jithin Mohan instigated a great fight back. He also snatched n absolute screamer at short mid wicket. However, 47 not out by Rajesh Pillai saw the Blasters to the finish line with a stable block show by you Alan PAAPAN Jose to compliment a magnificent show by Rajesh. Well done lads.

17.01.2022 Blasters model photo shoot... Thanks jithin mohan

14.01.2022 A message from the Northern Territory Faculty of Emergency Medicine...

14.01.2022 Another top quality run chase by the Darwin Blasters that came back to snatch the game from a unexpected position. Bowling first, Boney Sebastian was the evident stand out performers as he yet again led from the front with impressive figures of 8 overs, 3 maidens, 4/13. Ajay Emmanuel also joined the party with 7 overs, 2 maidens, 2/10. Although went wicketless, silent assain Hari Nandanan made an outstanding comeback, bowling 1 maiden in 4 overs for 10 runs. Rajesh Pillai baf...fled the opposition also with a superb figures of 7 overs, 2 maidens, 2/20. The standouts however was not just the bowlers or the batsmen, but 3 very well established all rounders that have yet again pulled up their socks to achieve this great victory. Boney Sebastian's hard fought 16 and Balu Balachandran's finishing touches of 26 paved way to another valiant batting masterclass by Rajesh Pillai who scored 43 not out. Unmentioned hero's of the match are the two wonder slip fielders and all intimidating short cover. Another victory and that too against the undefeated Southern Districts. Top stuff boys. Keep it up.

14.01.2022 Visual story teller for team blasters..... sanju aliyan

13.01.2022 Great tournament guys! Though Blasters were knocked out by United in the semifinal, We proved again that we are among the best teams in darwin. Blasters bagged almost all individual trophies again. Player of the tournament and maximum number of sixes award- Suneeth Vs 28 massive sixes and mammoth 331 runs from 5 games including 2 centuries and 1x50. Boney Sebastian grabbed 13 wickets in 5 games misses out best bowler of the tournament by 1 wicket. Rohan philip was named b...est fielder in the tournament with 7 catches and 4 runouts. 13.01.2022 Asia cup presentation

13.01.2022 Firstly a big kudos to the Blasters today for a huge effort to dust off the rust and play pretty well after a long break. Not so young Michael Warner pulled up with 6 big wickets and handy innings in the end to finish things off. Big improvement and hats off buddy. Its becoming quite usual for Jithin Mohan to play outstanding innings as he scored yet another quick 50. He finishes work at 5:30 and makes sure that he comes down for a training session most days. Hard work pays o...ff. Keep up the good win and continue in this form into the season too boys. Score Southern Stars 87 all out Darwin Blasters 88/3

10.01.2022 A HUGE UP TO DARWIN BLASTERS SPONSORS FOR THEIR AMAZING CONTRIBUTIONS TO OUR TEAM. Here's to another epic and that too in a clinical display of sharp bowling and even sharper batting. Big koodos boys, dream two weeks and in a great position to play the quarter finals. This time, its Rohan Philip, carrying his good form with the bat from the previous game that got Darwin Blasters off to a swift start after a losing an early wicket. ... His partnership, alongside Jonathan Caderamanpulle, who held his own, proved valuable to the team. Both players scored a quick 32 with shots that stunned to impressed But, both their firey cameos paved way to yet again dominant Rajesh Pillai. His 50 of 35 balls with seven 4s was that of pure class and magic. Brilliant stuff boy. So good to see that the runs are pouring from the top order again. In the bowling department, its yet again !THE MURANTY! that somehow topples the stumps whenever needed. Magical figures of 3 overs - 4 for 14 from you Raphy, top of his game at the moment. The old chap Balu Balachandran also shared the same figures and what a comeback boy. Standout figures considering your recent injuries and that you bowled the 3 overs in the powerplay. Good to see you making your mark on the big stage mate. Rajesh and Boney also picked up wickets of their own as well. Suneeth also mate, amazing behind the stumps. Hot day it was boys and im glad you put all that heat back in your cricket. Hats off boys. Never fails to impress.

10.01.2022 12 down and 1 to go and the Darwin Blasters has never felt more stronger. Another win and another display of bowling master-clas, that too by the the old fella Hari Venugopal (Hazza Pazza). His 6 for 25 paved way to another emphatic victory where the Darwin Blasters peaked with both the ball and bat. Jonathan Caderamanpulle also plucked 2 handy wickets but his 30 with 6 fours on an unpredictable tracy wicket equals his 122 last week. As Hari and Jono dominated the bowling a...spect, it was yet again not so young Rajesh Pillai that carried with the bat. His name must might be the most featured name on this page but his unbeaten 33 with 5 fours was pure elegance. His partnership with Jonathan after 2 quick wickets and then his sturdy partnership with Justin Chakkedan to finish things off was a huge test of character for all 3 fellas and amazing work boys. Justin Chakkedan's innings was also that of a mention-worthy. More than the runs, his display of character and the way in which he handled pressure is comparable to one of the best innings he's played for the Blasters. He looked sharp and he played like a champion. Not out in 2 crucial games, he's turning into a big match player. Amazing work boys, it was a hot day and we all maintained composure and its the mentality thats pushing us through. 1 more game left and its a spot in the semis. Lets fasten up and train that little bit harder, work that little bit smarter. I can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel. #letsgoblasters

09.01.2022 Our boyz playing in invitational X1 today 2.30pm... Ajay Emmanuel Suneeth Vs Boney Sebastian Rajesh Pillai.. All the best buddies

09.01.2022 Another dominant win for Darwin Blasters this afternoon against Darwin Dingos. Blasters who won the toss and chose to bat first, put a great total of 173/3 in 20 overs. Courtesy to Suneeth Vs for his 2nd consecutive century in the tournament and well supported by Jithin Mohan. It was a pleasure to watch them batting especially the monstrous sixes hit by suneeth. The pair put up a 148 runs in the opening partnership. In return Dingos started off pretty well with scoring some qu...ick runs in the powerplay. But Boney Sebastian took the game away from dingos with some disciplined bowling during the middle overs and Hari Nandanan showed how good a bowler he is with a 5 wicket haul and two run outs which helped blasters to finish things off in style claiming a 31 runs win. Blasters will play Ceylon warriors in tiwi oval at 10 am next Sunday. Please come down and support the team like you always do. Darwin blasters would also like to thank all the sponsors for all the support and help you have given us. Couldn’t have done without you guys.!!!

09.01.2022 It’s the final round guys. Come watch and support your favourite team.

08.01.2022 As Asia Cup kicked off this morning, Blasters started off with a win against Roaring lions. Good luck blasters for the next game !!!

08.01.2022 Beautiful morning for cricket ...

08.01.2022 Another season and another year of success but for two established Blaster stars. One of those players is Alan Paapan Jose, who has been a consistent star with the ball throughout the season, picking up 24 wickets in in 13 matches. Hes not just the leading wicket-taker within the club, but one of the leading wicket takers in the competition. This is truly an astounding feat considering that its his 2 season ever playing cricket. Beyind the injuries, the level of improvement ...in his overall cricket with both ball, bat and in the field is amazing. The second of those players is one player that has been talked about all season. Not so young Rajesh Pillai has now stolen the Mr. Consistent title as he also, has been a cornerstone on the Blasters Middle order. Averaging above 50, hes also had a break out year with the blasters with ball as well, snatching 14 wickets, that too in 9 games. Hes been one player that has almost been mentioned every game for his cotributions throughout the season. Overall boys, keep it up. You guys have been amazing this season and its good to see that you guys have put in the hard yards and its played off. Truly deserving. Keep going

07.01.2022 Cheers to another successful round boys An emphatic win, that too on another crucial do or die match. To start off, what a performance by debutabt Jonathan Caderamanpulle with both bat and ball. The magnificent knock of 122 with 10 fours and 4 sixes and amazing bowling figures of 3 overs, 2 maidens for 2/5 showcased class, elegance and beyond all, pure dominance. ... Another stellar performance from not so young Rajesh Pillai as well. He bowled 3 maidens in his 8 overs and although went wicketless, displayed what he has done all season, control. His stunning innings of 63 was not just high quality, but also stylish with 4 fours and 1 six. Another shoutout to a stylish innings from Sandeep Vijayan also to finish off the innings. Overall, the Darwin Blasters saw amazing contributions from: The sniper Hari Venugopal (Hazza Pazza) - 5 overs 3/32 Fast and furious Balu Balachandran (Bal) - 4 overs 3/17 The mammoth Boney Sebastian (Bons) - 8 overs 3 maidens 0/17 The Zaheer Khan Alan Jose (Paaps) - 6 overs 1/37 Good all round boys and let's get this bread. 2 more rounds and let's make it ours lads. What a catch too. Amazing reflexesBons

07.01.2022 Thats the end of an Era.... MSD#

04.01.2022 Cricket season starts.... fortunate that NT is covid free... #territorians #Blasters

04.01.2022 Firslty, thank you yet again for our wonderful sponsors for giving us the opportunity to participate in the tournament. You guys are truly amazing for all the support you have given us. Back to the events of Sunday, unbelievable stuff lads. The calm before the storm is not always silent and that calm has a number. That magic number is 1/74 and that number has W-I-N written all over it. What an effort and what a way to start. Overall, not one name stands out because each indiv...idual performance contributed equally for the team's victory. Yet some efforts of certain players cannot go unmentioned; - Boney Sebastian’s astounding 4 overs, 1 maiden 3 wickets for 8 runs - @Jonathan Caderamanpulle’s 4 overs, 1 maiden, 2 wickets for 4 runs The two standout bowlers, simply because you guys set the tone from ball one. You both were unplayable from the get-go, putting so much pressure on the batting side. Amazing stuff lads. The other 2 bowling standouts were; - Raphael Muranty’s 2 overs, 3 wickets for 3 runs and; - Ajay Emmanuel 3 overs, 2 wickets for 24 runs all constricted the batting of Ceylon Warriors to 72 in under 18 overs. In the batting, a 68 run-partnership between the opening pair; Rohan Philip and Ajay Emmanuel, single-handedly ascertained victory for the Darwin Blasters after the imperative bowling performance. A huge shout-out to Alen Jose and Raphael Muranty for their amazing grabs in the field. What a moment those were boys and I apologise to all the bowlers and batsmen that performed out of their skin but those two catches were the highlights of the day. Suneeth Vs also, mate, what an effort behind the stumps. You set the tone with your voice and backed it up with the gloves. Truly an inspiration.

04.01.2022 The class. The effortlessness. The beauty. Marvellous Rohan Phillip.

03.01.2022 Round 4 blasters take on Ceylon warriors tomorrow at 10am @ tiwi oval. Blasters who lead the table with 12 points will be looking forward to finish the round stages with a win before moving on to semifinal next Sunday. Thanks to all our sponsors and supporters for backing us up!

03.01.2022 Century moment... great innings suneeth... great camera work bala

01.01.2022 Thank you Saifu for the amazing clicks. Couldn't have done it without you mate

01.01.2022 A HUGE UP TO DARWIN BLASTERS SPONSORS FOR THEIR AMAZING CONTRIBUTIONS TO OUR TEAM. And off to the quarter finals!! Another epic performance with bat and bowl by the Blasters on Sunday allowing them to go 3 in 3 in this years Cup of Nations.... Batting was once again led by Rohan Philip, notching up a well deserved 50 against a very experienced pace attack. Rohan and Jonathan Caderamanpulle put on an invaluable partnership to ensure Blasters had a decent total to defend after losing an early wicket in the first power play. And some late hitting from the ever so young Mr Balu Balachandran and David Warner’s little brother Michael Warner, allowed Blasters to put up a total of 8/148. In the bowling department, it was an all-round performance from all the bowlers as everyone snared a wicket for themselves. Boney, Alen and Rajesh set the tone for the bowling making sure that no easy runs were leaked through, which paved way Jonathan to strike through the Eagle's top order claiming 4 wickets and a one-handed screamer of his own bowling. Jonathan just doing Jonathan things.. Michael also picked up two crucial wickets just when the Eagles were slowly getting back on top. Jono’s and Michael's wickets were all backed by Suneeth’s amazing glove work behind the stumps. The one-handed half diving, half falling, half standing catch Sunny took changed the game and put Blasters back in the drivers’ seat. Blasters with their hard work, kept the Eagles to 9/133 at the end of 20 overs. Now onto the quarters finals boys. Every little moment counts. #bleedblasters
