24.01.2022 The NT's largest cycling event, the Sunbuild Top End Gran Fondo is happening next month on August 30th. Julian has laid down the challenge to all NT politicians holding a seat in the legislative assembly to participate in the event. He's put his money where his mouth is and he'll be donating to charity for all the above politicians who finish the Gran Fondo 145KM event and the 60KM half fondo event. Thanks to the NT Government for their financial contribution to the event and... ongoing support. Any politicians interested to ride in the event please contact Julian so he can include you in his "Polly Pedal" challenge. Darwin Family Law is a proud sponsor of the Top End Gran Fondo. Darwin is lucky to be able to host sporting events such as this with other cities not enjoying the same freedoms at present. This photo is of John Scott who at 90 was the oldest rider in todays event. We'll update you in the coming days with regard to Julian's polly-pedal and see which local politicians finished the event and qualified for the donation to their charity of choice.
