20.01.2022 working on an Alto Flute some before and after shots of some polishing

17.01.2022 working on an old Martin Indiana Alto, had to get the low C and Eb tone holes level and these Martin tone holes are thick but got there and pads sealing easily now, thought it was a US Marines instrument from engraving on the back but found out RMC means Reynold’s Music Company and instrument is from the 1950’s, also a bit banged up this one

11.01.2022 Hi just wondering if anyone has seen this set up for a neck octave lever, its off a Lyon and Healy Martin stencil alto; what lm wondering is if the lever is soldered into the small pad cup part? thx cheers

This instrument has been fully reconditioned, and is set up for our variable weather conditions, ie the humidity + heat + dryness, etc. This is a step up from a student instrument, and is for players wanting "more" from their sound, for their playing/effort. 05.01.2022 Great little pliers with many uses, these are Ferree’s Spring removal set but any high quality small jaw pliers would work equally as well, looking for small wide handles for a strong grip and a box type joint for strength, the narrow chunky jaws to grip small pieces of broken spring and get very close, flush with the post. enjoy

01.01.2022 Another great tool this one a brand new one for me, a Flute Pad Open Hole Punch. have used an old pad in the photos but this set has 4 sizes to hold the pad and 3/4 hits with a hammer and new open hole pad. also from Ferree’s.
