23.01.2022 Darwin Championships 2020 Qualifying is almost over and the Masters events begin tomorrow 14 November. If you have made the finals for your respective Masters event(s) please take note of the closing time for check in, as reserves will be called as soon as check in closes. You must be physically in the Centre to check in. Please also take note of the dress code for MASTERS EVENTS All bowlers must wear a collared shirt (polo shirt) or bowling industry manufactured shirt. ... Male Collared shirt or bowling industry manufactured shirt and **tailored dress shorts OR long **tailored pants Female Collared shirt or bowling industry manufactured shirt and **tailored shorts OR **tailored skort OR **tailored skirt OR long **tailored pants ** TAILORED IS DEFINED AS HAVING BELT LOOPS AND TWO FRONT POCKETS (NOT DENIM) Hats will not be permitted to be worn during qualifying events or Masters’ events. Check in Times Saturday 14 November Delta Electrics Junior Masters - must be checked in by 8.30am Cost $50 Adult Restricted Masters - must be checked in by 1.00pm Cost $110 Sunday 15 November Classic Masters, Senior Masters, Open Masters - must be checked in by 8.00am $110 for one Masters $155 for two Masters (if eligible) $200 for three Masters (if eligible) The Tournament Team will gratefully accept any help offered by volunteers to run the Masters events. 19.01.2022 Darwin Championships 2020 The first day of out Masters weekend has been run and won, with the Juniors bowling in the morning and the Adult Restricted in there afternoon. It was a great day with some really fantastic bowling. Some of the bowlers in both Masters events were bowling in their first Masters. Congratulations to our Junior Masters champion and placegetters: Champion - Elijah Lane (bowling his first Masters)... 2nd - Kate Copley 3rd - Amelie Greenland (bowling her first Masters) Congratulations to our Restricted Champions and placegetters: Women Champion - Tammy Sammut 2nd - Michelle Christensen 3rd - Amanda Hintz Men Champion - Malakai Sammut ( first Adult Masters) 2nd - Jonathan Hegarty 3rd - Nathan Ware The full results can be found on www.tenpinresults.com.au and photos will be posted later. Thank you to the Tournament Committee for all that you do so we can have these events and also to those who volunteered their time to assist the team. Huge thanks to the Planet team for giving over their lanes to us for the day in what we know is a busy time of year for you, for your support to our sport and for the awesome hospitality you put on at the end of each Masters event. 15.01.2022 TBA Registration is now open and until the end of December 2020, you can pay the Earlybird price of $30 for Adult League and $20 for Junior League. You can ren...ew at https://www.tenpinresults.com.au/renew Silver membership is $45 in addition to the league membership. If you were a Silver member in 2020 you don't need to pay it as it has been rolled over for 2021 because we couldn't use it in 2020. You only need to pay the league component. TBA no longer issues membership cards however you can download a digital card to your computer of IPhone or Android phone. The instructions of how to do that are attached to this post and it will update each year that you pay. Don't miss out of the discounted price of membership. Normal fees of $37 for adults and $27 for juniors will come into effect on 1 January 2021

12.01.2022 Well the 2020 Darwin Championships are over and what a great 3 weeks of bowling it has been, finishing with the Classic, Senior and Open Masters today. A huge thank you to all of the volunteers who have helped out over the championships and in particular the Masters weekend. No matter what your contribution has been, it is very much appreciated so that members of the tournament team can bowl. Thank you also to the team at the Planet. It was great to be able to work with ...you to reschedule the championships from July, and have your support to manage the Masters events at a very busy time of the year for you. Thank you also for the wonderful hospitality you have put on at the end of the Masters events. Those sausage rolls and onion rings are just soooooo yummy and the fruit was very refreshing after a hot 10 games today :). It is great to be able to work together for the sport we all love.
