17.01.2022 Ping Ping-a-thon is coming up, some of our leaders need your support! Please help us reach our goal by sponsoring us in Ping Pong-A-Thon! What is it? Ping Pong...-A-Thon is a fundraising & advocacy movement, combating human trafficking and exploitation of young people in South East Asia through a series of table tennis events held every year - supporting the work of several amazing organisations committed to protecting and caring for young people impacted by modern day slavery. Every young person deserves to live a life that is FREE! Thanks so much for your support. THE IMPACT YOUR DONATION CAN HAVE... $54.00 Provides three weeks of on-the-job-training for one survivor in professions such as hairdressing, baking and tailoring. $88.00 Enables a survivor to receive intensive, individual counselling for one month. $ 150.00 Can cover trial fees for one case so a trafficking survivor can see justice served. $ 430.00 Provides a month of home visits from case workers for 70+ at-risk students. $ 700.00 Can see a trafficked survivor back into formal education for 1 year. $1,000.00 Enables a survivor to buy the tools or products they need to start a small business. Why not start big and pray for something bigger? We've set our fundraising goal to $1000 with the plan that if 100 of our friends all donated $10 each, we'd be able to reach that goal, and more! 09.01.2022 This weekend is Church Camp: Coomalie Olympics 2020. (At Coomalie Creek NT). On Friday afternoon bring your tent and choose a spot to have a restful weekend with DBC Church. On Saturday we start our team sports at 10am. So if you are coming for the day try to be there by then so you don't miss out on any action.... On Sunday we will be having a 10am service at the camp grounds. See you there!
