22.01.2022 It's been a Big build up! I've been flat out on the water and neglected Facebook so I'll spend the next couple of weeks updating you all on where I've been for the last couple of months! Stay tuned....
21.01.2022 Now that the run off is all but done and dusted for another year I might start posting a few photos I’ve been collecting over the last couple of months. See if I can get you all pumped up for next year! I’ll start with Mike, first trip Barra Fishing ever his first 4 fish averaged 90cm
20.01.2022 As it got hotter I snuck in a bit of a fish myself. I got a chance to fish some billabongs down near the Daly landing my first ever billabong metery on a home made unpainted Northern Native timber lure. Scored plenty of other good fish too. Always good to explore new country.
19.01.2022 Had Brian take us out. He produced the goods for us. Had 2 solid action packed days. A well organised trip, very accommodating and great for a laugh. Highly recommended, will be booking again for our biennial conference.
19.01.2022 Just got back in from Endyalgout, here’s mike setting a new PB with a really healthy 118cm caught on the cast. She was released after this photo and swam off strong ready to get spawning.
17.01.2022 Had a great trip out to Endalygout with Bryan and Simon, plenty of fish caught!. The boys worked tirelessly to get us onto fish not to mention cooking up a seafood banquet every night, we ate like kings! Thanks again to the boys at Darwin Barra fishing for a great trip!
17.01.2022 In town for the V8's and have a spare day? We are currently running daytrips to the billabongs on the Mary river and turning some good results. Its a great way to see some of the most breathtaking parts of the top end teaming with birdlife and crocodiles. Why not jump on board for a day and give it a crack.
16.01.2022 Our most recent trip up at Endyalgout. Loving the build up plenty of good fish doing their thing.
13.01.2022 Run off for 2017 all wrapped up. Good to see a proper wet season after a few dud years. Even better to see the swarms of baby Barra that have been spawned and have had a great start to life. Look forward to seeing them again in 2 or 3 years when they are 60cm or 70cm. Here's a few pics from my last couple of run off trips
12.01.2022 Brian took my wife, our daughters and myself out fishing for the day and it was a fantastic day out. As you could probably imagine there were tangled lines, lur...es in trees, snags and also plenty of fish caught. Nothing was a problem to Brian and we all felt like experts by the end of the day. We could not speak highly enough of Brian and his totally professionally run business. 10/10 Thanks mate see you next time. See more
10.01.2022 Late start but good to see something significant on its way.
09.01.2022 Finished up our extended trips for the year. Couldn't be happier with the results out of Arnhem Land, we just kept catching big fish of every flavour. Already booking out for the best tides next year so if you're keen for the fishing trip of a lifetime give us a call. Both camp and mothership options available.
08.01.2022 Looking better now, better late than never!
08.01.2022 Make sure you pick the right captain this run off
08.01.2022 Wet season Update- After a good start with plenty of storm activity in November and early December we had a hot and horrible few weeks through mid December with a bit of relief arriving on Christmas day. But since New years the wet season seems to have gotten is act together. Darwin continues to miss out on the rain but the river catchments where it counts have been getting some good falls every night. Daly river is on the rise and after watching the radar like a hawk I can only assume the South and the Mary should be following suit. Fingers crossed it will keep happening and we get another proper run off and spawning season. This is Last Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Yesterday
05.01.2022 Fished the Kakadu Klash with Alex Julias from NAFA magazine and Warren DeWith from Katherine Rod and Rifle, didn’t quite get the results but a great 3 days on the South Alligator. Also getting fined a carton by my indoor cricket team for turning up on the news.
05.01.2022 The month of April has seen day trips fishing close to Darwin on the increase. To boot with this we have had good success on many of these outings, not always landing big Barra but landing good numbers. Today's tour yielded another 9 nice Barra to 90cm, the boys took home a few feeds of fresh Barra and even experienced a double hook up on solid fish. Here's a few pics from the past couple of weeks.
04.01.2022 Few pics from our first trip up to Endyalgout, stand out fish so far this year is Tony with this 116cm beast, sight cast on a flat!
03.01.2022 Thinking about Run off 2019? Sitting in Darwin watching the build up clouds get bigger everyday I know I am. Give us a call or drop us an email and see what we can line up. Remember the best tides through March April and May book out early.
03.01.2022 Back in from our first remote camp trip of the year. Always good to get back to Endyalgout island away from the crowds and get lost in the maze of the Mini Mini. Big thanks to the guys, clients and staff for making it a great trip. Cant wait to get back up there in a couple of weeks.
02.01.2022 Niiiiice Gary!!!!
