As a result, Darwin Harbour Cruises has been closely monitoring the developments and advice provided around COVID-19. Following further advice received, together with a number of new restrictions initiated by the Northern Territory Government (including border closures and restrictions on non-essential travel and activities), we have today announced the temporary suspension of all D...arwin Harbour Cruises. At this stage, all our services will be suspended until 31 May 2020 and we will continue to monitor the situation as it evolves. We recognise that this will be incredibly disappointing news for guests booked between now and 31 May, but trust you will understand our decision. 20.01.2022 Our gorgeous tri-level catamaran 'Charles Darwin' is a familiar sight at Stokes Hill Wharf. Did you know that, despite being named after him, Charles Darwin himself never sailed into our harbour? The name was given by a former shipmate of Darwin's when the HMS Beagle visited our waters in 1839.

Bringing the town to light, this world-class outdoor installation features 8 illuminated sculptors across the CBD by artist Bruno Munro. The exhibition runs through to 30th April and is connected by a 2.5km self-guided path throughout Darwin. A must-see if you're in the area!
