25.01.2022 Weekend Wrap Up Another weekend having fun in the sun for the Darwin Karting Association competitors. With plenty of practice laps completed in the days prior the track was gripped up with fresh rubber, which caught a number of drivers on their toes chasing kart setup. Your club memberships go towards maintaining the fantastic facility we all love and enjoy. Whilst the countless hours time our volunteers contribute to the club are free, it still takes real money to pay for power, fuel the mower and get keep the buildings standing.... 23.01.2022 2020/21 Wet Season Racing Returns! Once again Darwin Karting Association is excited to announce racing will continue over the coming Wet Season. These events are more about the social aspect of karting, and keeping the club active over the quieter months. The racing is not as serious, there's no championship points and the winners only get bragging rights. Maybe it rains, maybe it doesn't... Maybe you put wet tyres on, maybe you drift around on slicks But we'll all have a good time

23.01.2022 UPDATE: Round #7 will continue as originally scheduled Calendar Updates The DKA committee met last night to discuss the remaining events for the season. Clearly the situation is still fluid with our new normal and we aim to be flexible and adapt to the changing landscape.... Round #7 August 16 The announcement over the weekend that Supercars are moving to back to back weekends has created uncertainty for Round #7. We are expecting an update from Motorsports NT today regarding access to the facility for that weekend. Round #9 and Closed Titles change places Instead of pushing the date back for Closed Titles into the school holidays we have taken the suggestion of a fellow member and will be swapping the rounds around. Closed Titles will now be held 12 September and Round #9 held 26 September. A reminder that Closed Titles will be a championship point scoring round to achieve 9 events for the 2020 season. Each competitor's best 7 results will form their tally for the year.
