25.01.2022 Our day so far..... just had lunch at the crocodile hotel and now off to see the crocs at Cahills crossing...

24.01.2022 When we had to cancel this years Disney trip and cruise and a few other trips we decided to fast forward one of our retirement plans and purchase a caravan and spend some time exploring our own State and later on the rest of Australia... Here is our Disney Dream....... We have loaded it up with our Disney bedding, crockery, cutlery and anything else Disney we can find.... This is our piece of Disney until we are free to travel the world again......

20.01.2022 After lunch we headed to Cahills Crossing, it was flooded so didn’t get to see any crocs but Geoff did manage to catch a couple of Barra’s. Then it was off to Coolinda Lodge for the night, really nice rooms with good territorian rates, and a bonus free breakfast with Geoff’s club card...

20.01.2022 So we are off on a quick adventure.... No Disneyland this trip but will be watching out for any specials we can find.....

17.01.2022 So we have picked out a cruise and messaged the travel agent..... now just have to wait till Wednesday when the bookings open.... Fingers crossed the prices are good and we can get the cabin we want.....

14.01.2022 Disney Dream adventure...... This weekend we headed down to Litchfield National Park. Friday night we stayed at Batchelor Holiday Park. Lovely park at $35 for a powered site. Really well maintained and lovely owner. Saturday morning after a quick drive around Batchelor, we aimed for a free camp spot at Finniss River Crossing. Having a 4 wheel caravan we thought we would take the dirt road which was all good until it suddenly turned into a bush track lol. So after a very car...eful bush 3 point turn we headed back and stuck to the main road lol. It was a cute little river area and Geoff had a quick fish but we then decided to head back to Wangi Falls camping area. This was a really well set out area with great bathrooms and BBQ area at $6.60 per adult a night....... and the falls area was fantastic!!!! Had heaps of shady areas to sit, green grass and well maintained and lots of people in swimming. We will definitely be coming back here for a whole weekend...... See more

11.01.2022 It’s booked..... we are cruising to see the Vikings... August 2020 We had a placeholder from our previous cruise that gave us a 10% discount and room credit and used a US booking agent to get additional room credit. Now to start saving and planning out the rest of the trip..... Oh and we got a cabin with a window with slight obstruction for the cost of a inside room!!!!

05.01.2022 Sunday..... off to Pine Creek and then home again.... Was a fun 2 days but not much open due to it still being the wet season even though the water was fairly low every where. Accomodation at Cooinda was really good and the food was good and reasonable too. Sadly Pine Creek was like a ghost town, again a lot closed due to the season..... Mmmm where will we go next month....

04.01.2022 Disney has just released the itineraries for 2020 with sales starting next week..... Paris 2020, let the planning begin.....
