25.01.2022 Thankyou to everyone who participated in our Photo Fundraiser. The proceeds from this years fundraiser have been well used in our doll corner. here are just two of our new dolls. 25.01.2022 Booking Reminder - Please book a time today (89279077 before 2pm) if you intend coming on Saturday to exchange your toys. Due to Covid19 precautions we have limited time available so booking will give you easier access.

25.01.2022 Wowee we’ve had some great storms. Please remember to bring any borrowed toys in out of the weather in case it rains. Especially our large foam items. There is a larger cleaning and replacement fee on these items if they are damaged. If you do happen to get one of these wet please get in touch and we can let you know what to do next.... 22.01.2022 A Big thank you to all our Members for following the Covid-19 requirements. We have just been told we can operate as per normal. What does this mean? You are still required to clean all items before returning and practice physical distancing with hand washing when visiting the toy library to be safe. We have welcomed lots of new members since reopening on the 19th May 2020 and look forward to seeing all our members again soon.

22.01.2022 Now that most families are isolated at home, you may have the opportunity to spring clean. We would hate for our pieces to be accidentally throw out, so we encourage our members to start of box of DTL pieces to return to us when we reopen. 20.01.2022 DIPL Road Safety NT says that one way we can help to keep our children safe on the roads is to teach children responsible road safety behaviours and attitudes from a young age. We have added some new double sided traffic signs and working traffic lights to the library. This set can be found in the big toy room and because we support Towards Zero there is no hire charge for this set. #towardszeront

19.01.2022 Toy Library Teacher Members Are you using Toy Library resources in your classrooms under a standard membership, is your schools insurance covering you? To make sure you are covered by our insurance we are creating a group membership category just for you. Your existing membership can be transferred to our new category. ... 19.01.2022 DUE TO GOVERNMENT DIRECTION = CHO Directions No 20 (Directions to close public places, services and activities) SIGNED - as put out by the government at 6pm on the 15th April 2020. Our click and collect has to be put on hold. 17.01.2022 It is with great sadness that we have been told by the government we have to close our doors. As of 6 pm we will no longer be operating. 17.01.2022 A quick update on our Covid-19 measures: Hand sanitiser is available and we ask that you use it before you visit each room. We are observing physical distancing and ask members to do so too. Tap and Pay is our preferred payment option and we have removed the minimum limit for eftPOS transactions. We have improved our returns process to include additional steps to disinfect and sanitise all items before being returned to the shelves - the expectation is that members continue t...o return toys cleaned appropriately. 16.01.2022 Lets talk about overdue toys. We know you don't like overdue fees, neither do we, here's how to avoid them... Check your spam/junk folder, email reminders are sent to members 2 days before your items are due for return. The email will tell you what is due back to the Toy Library. ... When you receive the email gather the toys and check them, count them and clean them before bringing them back to us. If you cannot get them back on the due date contact us and let us know when they will be returned and we can update your loans so you don't get charged overdue fees. 14.01.2022 We are excited to announce we are reopening on the 19th May at 9am. Hours will be as before but please ring and make a time as we are only allowing 6 member inside at any one time. This will allow for a half hour time slot so everybody gets a chance to exchange their toys.

If you are able to come during the week instead of Saturday mornings that would be great as it has been very busy of late. As there will be limited access to the toy library on a Saturday, we ask that you make your choices quickly and efficiently to allow everyone the opportunity to borrow! 08.01.2022 We have added some small wooden balance boards to the Toy Library, they can be used for balancing, slides or standing on. If you flip them over they become bridges and shelters and tables...the choice is endless. These ones are rated to 70kg so keep an eye on anyone playing with them but we are sourcing some that will take the adults too. Find them in our G1 Games section... The balanced Toy Library Team

06.01.2022 Hi Members In compliance with Covid-19 precautions we now have the opportunity to serve our members with a CLICK AND COLLECT option. We hope to begin this new way of operating on 20th April 2020, during the following days and times Monday to Thursday 9am to 2pm for a trial period.... Members will be sent an email with a link to our catalogue and a temporary password for your account just follow the instructions and you will be able to see our range and what is available for borrowing. Sadly, members will not be allowed to enter the Toy Library, you must call, email or message the staff with requests for toys that will be confirmed by the Toy Library. All requests must be accompanied by a time for pickup within 24hrs of request and will be confirmed by library staff. We will prepare your request for selected toys, or similar toys if requested item is not available, and then you will be met at the main entrance at the agreed time. Toys can be returned during open hours at an agreed time. 04.01.2022 Welcome to October! Today we will turn off our Click and Collect/ Hold function. If you have an existing hold don't worry, we have you taken care of. In November will be changing holds to extra large items only. So climbing frames, ball pits, foam sets and playhouses. We will announce the reopening of this function as soon as we can.... If you are not a member we will ask you to provide contact details including time of visit, number of people in your group and a contact number when you visit us, this complies with the incoming COVID-19 contact tracing requirements. 02.01.2022 We are so excited, the playground is open again. We know you will love it as much as we do! We couldn’t bear to keep it closed any longer so please bear with us as we reestablish some grassed areas and rearrange our adventure garden. We really have to thank the team at NT Sports and Playgrounds Surfacing, they have done a fantastic job revitalising our play space with funding provided by the NT Government.
