23.01.2022 Good Monday Melbourne is down to 11 confirmed cases of Covid-19. I went for a walk in Caulfield Park last Saturday and came close to the Grey Goose that traumatised me a year back, well I think it was the same one . They can be very nasty when they go into protection mode. Anyway we are friends now and I am not sure what the Seagull was doing.... I can recommend Away on Netflix to those that havent exhausted all choices. Happy gardening. Best wishes - Daryl See more

20.01.2022 Hey, groovers, not long to go now! I thought I had messed up my ability to put things up here on Facebook, like pressed the wrong button or something. But thanks to Oscar and mainly Brienna and Denis at Sony... All is good. Go Pies.

20.01.2022 Good afternoon. This is a lovely story going back. photo #1 Cassette. photo #2 Cassette Deck photo #3 TASCAM 224 4 track tape recorder.... I have just decided to go through my cassettes that have been in the garage exposed to the elements for 30 years . Jason has kindly lent me his TEAC CX-270 Stereo Cassette Deck. I got most of the dirt out of the beautiful TASCAM 224. Most of you wont know that Simon Hussey producer and songwriter for my Edge album and 2 albums after that, said to me today when he saw the photo of the Tascam 224. "This is the machine" "I did James Reyne's demos on this exact machine. It is a classic.I had a reverb and a compressor plugged into it and a pair of YAMAHA NS 10 monitors" And upon me hearing those same demos of James Reyne was the reason that I asked Simon to produce Edge. I also wrote One Summer on this actual Tascam 224 . I hope you liked the story. Regards Daryl

08.01.2022 These sombre images of Melbourne were shot over the last 5 weeks and aired Monday night on the 7:30 Report. The piece was done by Chris Gillet and the Choirboy was George Stirling singing Meet me in the middle of the air. It reminded me sadly of the 1959 movie On The Beach.

05.01.2022 Good Sunday 9 August 2020 This footage is from Rooty Hill RSL taken on the 11 January 2003. I believe it was when we were going through our pseudo intellectual sit down development period . From left to right it is Geoffrey,John ,David and Andrew Gibbs {now in London}. I sometimes wonder why THE Band members never encouraged me to continue with my guitar lessons - Regards Daryl.

05.01.2022 Good Monday. This view is what WE will hopefully see in the rear view mirror on the 23rd November as some of us leave Melbourne in the state of Victoria. I took this photo when I was rushing back home across the border on 23 March this year. Daryl

05.01.2022 Listening to the radio this morning when the sad news came on that Sir Sean Connery had died, my thoughts went back to when I was a teenager and the unbelievably exciting Bond movies were IT. Sean Connnery had such charisma and was so cool. He will be remembered.

03.01.2022 Good Wednesday. I assume that there were very few of these made back in 75-76 as the apparatus needed to play them in the car was very expensive. I do remember that there was 1 guy who was in our surf group { late 60's early 70's} at Coogee and we all wanted to go away in HIS car as he had the unit and a few Overseas artists tapes like Jefferson Airplane - Jimi Hendrix etc Regards Daryl... PS ... I am finding some good stuff See more

02.01.2022 What a great day it is in Melbourne. Good to maybe get out into the garden and look at the plants or talk to them ? Most Saturdays I text the Band and crew the GET IT which is a quiz published in the AGE and SMH Good Weekend Magazine. You look at the 2 photos and the caption underneath. Todays one was beautifully enhanced by David as some of the Band needed help.John Corniola won todays comp and it's his first win since picking JETSKI back in 2013. I look forward to see what you think the answer is . Regards Daryl
