23.01.2022 This weeks photos from Evening Meditations from 10th September to 16th September. We are still in Stage 4 restrictions down here on the Mornington Peninsula. All of the images in this series have been taken within 5k radius from home. I decided to start my series up again as the COVID 19 infection numbers have dropped from 700+ daily to under 50 daily, Im wearing a mask and feel that Im being as safe as I can, when the numbers were so high and out of control I felt it was ...an obligation to stay at home to be part of the community to beat this terrible virus. I felt now that the time was right to start up this series and explore again. 16.01.2022 Fence line Look closely its there, the only thing in this image that is man made. Maintained by man to control the environment, ultimately to prevent livestock... from wondering off the cliff. Mans time controlling this environment is just a heartbeat in time, even the weather shaped tree is but a blip over the time span that has shaped this coast. Simple as it is the amazing colour of the sky gives this image a 3D quality, a depth, it feels like Im in a snow dome and some giant hand has painted an unfathomable colour on the on the roof of the world. #thethingswecreate #darylgordon #landscapephotography #getyourselfagordon See more

16.01.2022 The Story behind the Print > "Still Standing" > Well at least for the moment, this vestige of a pier can be found in point Nepean national park, and was origin...ally built as part of the quarantine station, How ironic in these Covid 19 times.. who would have thought that we would suffer from a pandemic.. and be quarantined in our own homes, it stands as a reminder of the past and the future, that nothing can be taken for granted. 08.01.2022 AQUA Ive always enjoyed the dance with the abstract. Ever since way back when I realised the magic of a slow shutter speed and induced movement. I never really... get sick of it. Aqua is soft, Aqua is what Ive played in since Ive been existing, its what is essential for life. The colours and contrasts in this Aqua is hypnotising I could and have looked at it for hours each time being something different, each time it induces a feeling that is hard to put a finger on, its subtle and colourful its the stuff that gives us all the ability to live.
