We had a fantas...tic time at Das Edelweiss in Balgowlah. This restaurant boasts of traditional charm and delicious food that truly is a taste of Austria. Service is excellent and the variety of special food and unique drinks (which you dont get any other place in Australia - try the Apricot Edelbrand :-)) make it a very unique experience. All washed down with a massive wheat beer. Many thanks to the welcoming Ernst for squeezing us in on a busy night, and the attentive Nicola. Now...Formula One qualifying to top a nice evening. 08.01.2022 This week we are featuring Gefullte Paprika - just like Oma used to make! Gefullte Paprika (Filled Capsicum) hails from Upper Austria and is made from capsicum filled with rice, minced pork and beef seasoned with cinnamon, nutmeg, parsley and onions. It is served on a bed of mash with a smoky paprika sauce. Please reserve your Gefullte Paprika at the time of booking!
