She loves drinking coffee, walking by the beach and has a deep passion for her business and marketing. Photographing weddings became a natural progression after photographing families, people started asking her if she would shoot their weddings and she quickly became addicted to love. Deas style is very relaxed and fun. 03.01.2022 Charlie and Hiari met in a nightclub on the Gold Coast in 2011, via a mutual friend. Charlie used the classic line Want to go somewhere quiet and talk? And the rest is history... We had a chat to these guys about their wedding at Dashville and heres what they had to say: Our wedding at Dashville was amazing! Its such a stunning venue, staffed by great people, the day felt like it was us (not a cookie cutter wedding feel) and most importantly it was ridiculously fun! ... We had about 80 people there, 15th Sep 2018, we started the night with cafe patron tequila shots and ice breaker games for guests to meet each other, had a great funk band @fishfry_powwow play and we danced the night away. We had so much fun dancing that we even forgot to cut the cake. Charlies daughters were our flower girls, my sister was my bridesmaid and Charlies best friend (Dashvilles own) Dan Jonhston was best man. We had a lovely glamping wedding tent and most of the guests also camped, which was great because we got to wake up and see everyone over a hot breakfast the next day. We upcycled our decorations, dyed old curtains etc for tables clothes, picked and dried roses from garden, used recycled jars with candles etc and aimed to be as waste free with the wedding as possible. We had so many positive comments from guests on the unique venue, and having guests able to camp or glamp onsite was awesome, it made it so relaxed and easy to manage.
